ok Motel for a nights stayPosted Dec 1, 2013
Cons: How the maids clean rooms
The Motel was nice enough looking inside & out. But our room was not very clean. There was something on the wall next to the bed around the lamp area. There was food under the counter in the kitchen area & the bathroom was not as clean as it should have been. We were only there for one night so we did our usual spray the room down with lysol. Will I stay there again? Unknown.

Majorly disorganized and penny pinching hotelPosted Oct 27, 2013
Pros: The room was clean when I got there.
Cons: Actually be organized and don't screw the guests over with wifi.
Check-in time starts at 3 pm and they allow late check-in. I got there at about 7 pm and they still had to go manually check rooms to make sure one was ready. The girl at the counter tried calling the manager to have him to check 2-3 times and he didn't answer so she left to go check it herself. There were 3 people behind me waiting for various things while we all waited for them to see if a room was even ready. Once I got to the room I get everything setup and connect to the free wifi. I'm greeted by .7 meg up and down with a nice prompt that I can pay extra to get speeds "fast enough to use skype". I even noticed a paper on the desk in the lobby saying that employees aren't allowed to tell anyone about any of those rates and if they use them for any reason they will be written up or terminated. Yeah, not a good first impression.

Chris - Thank you for providing us with details about your stay. I am sorry to hear that your check-in did not go smoothly. As this hotel's manager, I can assure you, I am reviewing our check-in procedures with the entire staff so this type of situation is not repeated. In regards to our WiFi, we are proud to provide free service to all of our guests with the choice to upgrade for a small fee. I am sorry that this message was not conveyed to you at check-in and will work with the staff to ensure it is moving forward. Our team is committed to satisfying our guests, so we are very thankful for your feedback. I would be happy to speak with you further. We hope that you will give us the opportunity to provide you with a better stay the next time you're in the area.

Enjoyed Our StayPosted Sep 10, 2013 on Hotels.com
The front desk people were super friendly. This was very conveniently located for us for the things we planned in the area. Would recommend it to all.

Convenient and Affordable hotel in South Salt LakePosted Sep 7, 2013
Pros: Close to my family and the freeway and shopping ..
Cons: Breakfast and no vending machines except on the 1st floor..
Location: Easy access to the I - 15 freeway , shopping and restaurants across the street .
It was a very nice and clean hotel and close to where my family lives .. staff was helpful also .. the only thing different than other hotels was the breakfast was muffins , coffee and oatmeal , no hot meals unless you wanted to make them in you're room ..

Thank you for taking the time to write a review of your stay. I am delighted to hear how much you enjoyed our location and the service offered by our staff. However, I am disappointed to hear our Grab - N - Go breakfast was not what you were expecting. I will be sure to make sure my team is properly communicating all of our amenities to our guests during the reservation and check in processes. Thank you again for your feedback and for sharing your experience with us. We would love to see you again, should your travels bring you back to our area!

Absolutely filthy!Posted Aug 22, 2013 on Hotels.com
The hotel was so disgusting I wanted to ask for my money back immediately. The carpets were filthy, there was old cheetos and other unidentifiable food on the floor in the room. The kitchen utinsels looked like they had been eaten off and wiped down. I wouldn't recommend this hotel to anyone. It was not just dirty in the room, it was dirty throughout the entire hotel. It was obvious, that clean is not a priority.

I wouldn't stay at Extended Stay America SLC againPosted Jul 9, 2013
Pros: Staff was friendly and accommodating.
Cons: Everything but the front desk staff.
Location: Is conveniently located. Near freeway and shopping center.
Tub was dirty. Cold water faucet did not work. Out of coffee and muffins one day. Coffee grounds in the coffee the next. Looked like an older facility in need of a remodel. No pool, hot tub or fitness facilities.

Becca - Thank you for your recent review of your stay. We appreciate the kind comments about our friendly staff; however, we apologize that the grab-and-go breakfast was not fully stocked each morning and that your room had issues with the bathtub and faucet. I discussed your comments with the team, and we are going to make sure that our housekeeping staff is doing a better job of inspecting every room before our guests check-in. Thank you very much for providing us with your feedback. I do hope that you will return to our hotel, or any other Extended Stay Hotels location in the future.

This hotel was very nice, very nice indeed. However they do not have maid service for extended stay rooms unless you pay extra for said service. They claim to have a breakfast but it was a service of coffee, muffins and quick oatmeal. Not much of a choice.

Great location!Posted Jul 6, 2013
Pros: Price, and friendliness of staff when I checked in.
Location: Shopping, restaurants, freeway and in a nice neighborhood.
So glad I booked my room at this hotel! Room was great, especially for the price. And the girl working the front desk was so awesome! She accommodated to my request for a room on the top floor, then I needed more pillows, and then I had some issues w/the remote for my TV. I felt like such a needy, pain in the butt guest! She was so helpful, and helped me with everything. She rocked. Hotel and room was clean, bed was comfortable, couldn't ask for more. thank you.
