Clean small place

Posted Nov 23, 2014
Pros: The nature area behind the Hotel
Cons: The breakfast selection and variety
Location: Good dining and shopping options
The location worked well for us, the hotel is located close enough to the freeway entrance for convenience. There is a great variety of choices for near by dining and shopping. The room was small, however that was o be expected, the bathroom was a decent size compared to the living and sleeping area. We had a over all good experience and would stay there again.

Comfortable beds and spacious rooms

Posted Oct 21, 2014 on Hotels.com
If you drink coffee, you ask for the machine at the front desk. As they are not readily available in the rooms. Also check in before 11 pm. The lobby closes and you won't be able to get to your room. There is a 100.00 deposit that is waved if you book through Hotels.com

Thank you for your recent review of your stay. I am glad to read that you enjoyed your comfortable bed and spacious room. Just for future reference we actually do have a night attendant available after 11:00 PM. You just need to use the phone located at the entrance of the lobby. Thank you very much for providing us with your feedback. I do hope that you will return to our hotel, or any other Extended Stay America location in the future.

Smelled like an ash tray!

Posted Oct 10, 2014 on Hotels.com
Tried three rooms before I found one that did not smell like an ash tray. The beds are very uncomfortable. Would not stay here again.

I enjoy staying at Extended Stay in Sugar House when I visit family in the area. Nicest hotel I have found near Holladay.

Nice place to stay with family

Posted Sep 23, 2014 on Hotels.com
Hotel was clean and comfortable. Since it's extended stay, it included a small kitchenette. It was located conveniently accross the street from a couple of fast food establishments and a short walk (through a small park directly behind the hotel) to an outdoor mall that included 2 natural food stores. The only downside was the included continental breakfast...fruit looked old, minimal cereal/muffin choices.

Total rip off. Epitome of a "cheap motel"

Posted Sep 14, 2014
Pros: The only perks about this hotel are the full fridge and kitchen, (but there are no pots, pans, dishes, utensils, or cups!)
Cons: Complete renovation of rooms, if you want to keep charging $90/nt., or lower the price to the going rate of a cheap motel in that area, ($45-$50).
Location: On account of the mass amount of written RULES to read, (I felt like this is what celebrity prison must feel like.) Any other info was overlooked.
Way overpriced for the type of rooms they have. The decor is tacky and the room needs a deep cleaning, especially the bathroom. The towels were small, worn, and discolored from aging. We were gonna spend a few days in Salt Lake as we made our way up north, but couldn't get on our way to Boise fast enough after one night at this hotel.

Love the neighborhood, service was poor

Posted Sep 11, 2014 on Hotels.com
front desk service was horrid. apparent new employee was clearly struggling with my check in. the manager noticed but did not help until i said something. same manager checked me out but she did not greet me only took my cards, never said how was your stay, not even thank you. also my room was a non-smoking room, but clearly had been a smoking room at one point. the smell was so embedded you couldn't get away from it.

A terrible experience

Posted Sep 7, 2014
Although the room comes with a full kitchen, not even so much as a paper cup is provided. All kitchenware must be ordered (at extra cost) from the front desk - which, incidentally, is only manned until 9:00 pm. The shower pipes in our room and the adjoining rooms groaned painfully whenever they were used. After arriving at 11:30 pm, that was an unpleasant shock at 5:45 am. The "free breakfast" consists of apples and muffins on a table in the tiny lobby. I would never stay at this hotel again.

Thank you for telling us about your experience. We are sorry to hear that you were not informed of our customizable kitchen packs and that you experienced noise from the plumbing. We are in the process of addressing the noise issue so that your experience is not repeated. Also, in an effort to provide our guests with the cleanest kitchenware possible, we store the items in a sterile environment and deliver the kitchenware to our guest's room at no additional cost. We will work with our front desk staff to ensure that we are fully informing our guests of our available amenities during check-in. Thank you again for bringing this to our attention. We do hope you will choose to stay with us again so we can have the opportunity to provide you with a better experience.
