“Comfortable and Clean!”
My son was so excited to go to the pool at the hotel. I always worry whether it will be maintenained clean enough for him to get in. It was clean and nice, it wasn't any shallower than 4' though so my little guys enjoyed it on the steps. The hot tub could have used a little maintenance I have to admit. The hotel had locker rooms w/ saunas inside. Plenty of clean towels by the pool. The hallways were well maintained. The parking garage was kind of confusing but there is plenty of parking available. I would definetely recommend this hotel to my friends and family. Thank you.
“Great Location”
This was our second year in a row of staying at the Hilton in downtown SLC while attending the World Super Bikes races out at Miller MotorSports. Great location - short walk to several good restaurants and brew pubs. Safe at night and quiet in the morning. Very convenient to I-80 West to drive out to the track. Hotel staff were very helpful and quickly corrected a billing problem without any hassles. Gym is clean and well equipped. We will definitely stay there again for next year's races.
“Ski weekend package to SLC”
A very good experience at the downtown Salt Lake Hilton for a ski weekend at Park City. Good location downtown, and quiet and clean like a Hilton should be. And at a good price booked through Expedia as a package with airfare. I'll be doing this again next year.
“Love it!”
had a great time in Salt Lake will def. try to get back in this hotel the next time I go back!
“Good Night”
I would recommend this hotel for a night stay on your way through Salt Lake City like we did or a stay for even longer. The staff were friendly upon arrival and check-in. We stayed for one night on our way through town and enjoyed it. We didn't get a chance to use the pool. There were a couple restaurants in the hotel and several that were close by. The hotel did have a few cosmetic things that needed to be updated like some paint in the room and things like that but overall an excellent stay.
“The best rest the night before a race”
I slept so well in the pillow-top, king sized bed! I slept even better than I do at home. I was worried that I would wake up sore and stiff, which would have put a damper on my running in the Salt Lake City marathon the next morning. Fortunately, I woke up refreshed, rested, and ready to run! I am glad I stayed there.
“Very nice hotel”
The hotel was obviously newly redone inside. The rooms are very nice - I really liked the large bathroom. A couple of complaints - The shower was very weak - they could use some better shower heads that deal with low water pressure better. There is no wireless access above the 2nd floor and the wired access requires you to renew each day - slightly annoying. Overall, a very nice stay. One of the restaurants - Spencer's Steakhouse - is spectacular. If you like steak, this is the place.
“Nice place!”
The parking garage situation was confusing. We had it included with our bill, but yet when we came & went, we had to pay again at a toll booth. Dumb & expensive. Expedia & this Hilton need to explain the parking a lot better to those interested in booking & staying here.
“Loved this place!”
Hotel was spotless. All the staff were very pleasant and helpful. Our room was very comfortable, clean, and looked brand new. Starbucks in the hotel was convenient. Parking fee was less than advertised. Didn't need to drive much because plenty of attractions were within a short walk. Hotel was surrounded by very nice restaurants. The surrounding area was very clean.
“Nice Hotel, convenient location”
We stayed here for 4 nights and enjoyed ourselves. Workout room was okay - equipment was a little older in style. We were on the 11th floor, the ice machine wasn't working. Went to the 12th floor to get ice. The location is awesome! Next door is Olive Garden (recommend that you make a reservation as it was always crowded. waiting lines went outside)and PF Chang's is a block away (would recommend a reservation here too). Two great affordable places to get a nice meal. 10 minute walk to Gateway outdoor Mall and 5 minute walk to ZCMI and Crossroads Mall (which is closed down for renovation - except for Nordstroms). housekeeping was VERY friendly always greeted us when passing in the halls. Other than the ice machine never working on our floor, the only complaint that we had was it cost $10/day for self parking.
