The hotel room was clean, bed comfortable,and the staff were very friendly. They had an excellent breakfast that was included with plenty of choices. If I need to return to Utah near Salt Lake City I would stay here again.

Mediocre Hotel and Service

Below average stay for a Holiday Inn. Room was not cleaned the second day. After repeated calls at 6PM, I was told that Housekeeping had a tough day due to the sell out. I can only assume that all housekeepers had gone home because the housekeeping supervisor came up herself. Her words upon entering were: "What service do you need...trash emptied, more towels?" She spent 5 minutes in the room and literally threw the pillows on the bed. She was in a terrible mood and she made every effort to let me know how she felt. In addition, the single elevator has a carpeted floor and every person exiting the pool steps in it wet, resulting in a foul odor. I usually stay at the Marriott Springfield Suites in Draper but the Holiday Inn/ Sandy offered a lower rate. The old saying: you get what you pay for, held true once again.

visiting family in utah

Pros: everything
Cons: get rid of the desk and replace it with a small table and two chairs , to be used for an eating area as well as a writing area.
Location: the location was right of the freeway, near stores, mall , restaurants , just about all you could want.
We enjoyed our stay. The room was very clean and tidy. The young lady who cleaned our room was very nice and did a very good job. Our morning breakfast had good choices and a welcome since we didn't have to venture out every morning to find a place to eat. We had a great stay. The staff was excellent, with their help and awareness of what was around for us to find. Holiday is on our list of hotels to stay.

Best beds ever

Have stayed in several hotels around this zip code and definitely think this is the best (even compared to higher class brands) friendly staff, great beds and nice clean rooms. Definite thumbs up

Everything was great. Usually is. I don't know why I tried another hotel but it ended up switching the second night to the Holiday because the other was horrid! Thank You For being consistant and comfortable :)
