Nice, clean hotel. Great location.Posted Jul 8, 2013
Pros: Clean, spacious suite. Excellent fitness room.
Cons: Manager needs to ensure front desk support during surges. Solo front desk agent was competent, but overwhelmed by check-ins and calls.
Location: City center. Convenient for sight-seeing, restaurants, and shopping.

Great roomPosted Jul 1, 2013 on Hotels.com
Very good experience concerning the quality and cleanliness of the room. Very nice. Unfortunately the breakfast was a disappointment. Slow personnel so a lot of people had to wait a long time before finally things were refilled (spoons, milk, waffel mix, bread, ...)

Too BrightPosted Jun 23, 2013 on Hotels.com
The hotel itself is very nice, but my room was one of my least favorite hotel experiences. There was a floodlight right outside my room window that stayed on all night, and the window only had thin white curtains, which did nothing to block out the brightness. Additionally, my room was by the Guest Services Room, so I had to listen to the chugging of washing machines all night. I'm sure many of their rooms are lovely, but I seemed to have gotten the short end of the stick during my stay.

Felt like a ritzy home away from homePosted Jun 19, 2013
Pros: The warmth of the staff & breakfast!
Cons: We cant think of a thing!
We are a ranching family from idaho. I was nervous that it would be too formal for our cowboy lifestyle. we felt like we were staying with our favorite rich aunt. We were treated both like family and like we were high class country not lost cowboys. From the descrption I had thought the seperate sitting area mad the king size bed a bit more private from the kids on the pull out couch... Guess that means next time we will just get a double queen. It was really no big deal though. Honestly if I cant wait to go back nexy year for our annual vacation!

Great locationPosted Jun 10, 2013 on Hotels.com
The locaion is excellent, close to the Gateway mall and a great farmers market in in the park across the street. The staff is extremely helpful and polite. I would deffinitely recommend this hotel for business or pleasure trips in Salt Lake City.

For our very short stay in SLC, Homewood Suites was the perfect place to stay. We especially appreciated the location!

Felt like we were in a Muslim country.Posted May 5, 2013 on Hotels.com
The Homewood Suites is an excellent hotel. Unfortunately there is not any vitality to the neighborhood. Our visit was predicated on seeing the Rodriguez concert (Searching For Sugar Man performer-which won an Oscar for best documentary) and prior to the show we had to succumb to dining at a corporate-owned restaurant, Applebee's, with its bland food and after the show there was not anywhere to go for an adult beverage where we could relax and talk about the show over a drink. Maybe the Homewood Suites could accommodate this inconvenience with opening a hotel bar for their guests.
