A charming hotel, and wonderfullly friendly staff

“Hotel Monaco is the best for Downtown Salt Lake City”

Great location and great staff. Extremely convenient for taking the TRAX trains around town and walking distance to many places, even in 17" of snow. Hotel bar and restaurant is excellent. Austin the bartender, rocks! We had a shower plumbing problem and it was resolved by engineering within 30 minutes.

The Monaco Hotel was located very well for my needs. The train system is available right outside their door. Additionally, their staff was great about helping me with finding transportation to the airport as well as making sure my luggage (which was delayed by the airline) got to me once it was delivered to the hotel. The room was very clean and well maintained. The only complaint I have is that the room was an "adjoining" room to the one next door. This was not something I made comment about to the staff but it was something I would have mentioned if there was a problem. I did not eat at the restaurant. I travelled alone.

Very nice hotel in downtown Salt Lake. Nice proximity to downtown shops. Nicely renovated room in which we stayed. Everyone very pleasant. Tea and coffee in the lobby in the morning. Would return here.

We were waited on from the minute we arrived to when we drove away. The room was beautiful and stylish. We also enjoyed the wine at 5:00. I appreciated that the hotel was pet friendly as well.

Great location for everything in down town SLC. Short walk to all attractions. Hotel has best restaurant in town. Hotel is home base for NBA visiting teams.

Really enjoyed the ambiance, all the extra services (including Happy Hour each night!), and the fact that the hotel is "pet friendly". Great place to stay.

“Four Star Service”

Great hotel for the business traveler or if you are in Salt Lake for the fantastic Symphony, Ballet, Opera or Theater. Free internet access, safe, convenient, wine happy hour. Excellent restaurant in house, and close to great restaurants in the downtown area. Rooms are small, but very comfortable. Staff is great!

“Fun Spot.”

My husband and I stopped overnight in Salt Lake on a 24 hour drive from Washington State to Phoenix. It was a really great pit stop. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful--even though we arrived close to midnight. They had 24 hour room service which worked perfectly for us. The room was cozy with fun decor and very clean and comfortable. We were pleasantly surprised by how pain-free an overnight in a nice place made our journey. Would certainly recommend to anyone.
