“Love the Little America”

The pictures of this hotel do not do it justice. The hotel is beautiful and well kept. We were upgraded to a tower room which had a great view of the city. The parking is free and underground. We go to Salt Lake City every year for a week of skiing and have stayed at a number of hotels in the past, but this hotel will be our permanent home for the week.

“Great Mini-vacation”

We are locals and wanted a quick get-away from our more harsh winter climate than Salt Lake (yes, it is actually colder where we live). We stayed two days in January (2 adults, 1 three-year-old). The indoor/outdoor pool was wonderful, but could be small for large groups and really cold days (if you didnt' want to venture to the un-enclosed part). The service is AMAZING! Great staff! Very friendly and knowledgeable. Anything you want is available. The food is great (coffee shop) and not too expensive. FREE PARKING and you can ride the local light rail around downtown for FREE, too. We didn't drive anywhere all weekend. Not all rooms are connected to the lobby FYI, so be careful picking "garden rooms." Only one "garden" wing connects to the main lobby. All "tower" rooms are obviously part of the main building. Only one complaint/inconvenience: Wi-Fi is NOT available in all "garden" rooms. Free internet, yes, but you will need to borrow an ethernet cord from the front desk (no charge, just inconvenient if you use your laptop as much as I do). We will stay here again!!

“Clean, Remarkable Hotel...Luxury at its BEST!!!”

This hotel is a wonderful place to stay within walking or tram distance to downtown SLC. I stayed at this hotel for a week on a business trip. I was treated with respect and any problem or request that I had was full filled in remarkable fashion. I will stay there again in the future and i recommend this hotel for business or pleasure. There are many shops in the hotel you can find anything you need, if you forget something at home no worries it is probably sold in one of the shops right there at the hotel. It is very convenient and close to the airport, cabs and limo service are normally waiting outside if you have any transportation needs.

“Comfortable”

The room was smaller than most modern rooms however it was well kept and remodeled well. When I first walked in, I thought is smelt "old" ... like an old home that had been well-kept. But the decor was nice and the room was cute. I was impressed with the large, spacious lobby and the kind staff who were helpful when needed. I loved how when I had a question and called the front desk, the operator would say, "How may I assist the [insert my last name here] party this evening?" I thought it was a nice touch. The pool was awesome! I loved how half was in and half was out with a nice little non-threatenin plastic barrier to shield both from one another (just in the pool though, not outside). The hottub was spacious too. My only complaint was I wish it was slightly deeper however it was comfortable. In the morning I blew a fuse while blow-drying my hair; it took maybe 10 minutes for maintenance to respond. That was convienent. Overall it was a nice night's stay!

“Lovely stay”

Loved the pillows, but the mattress was a bit hard. Very quiet, I wouldn't have even known other guests were there. Need ice room directions - I had to explore a bit. It would be nice if the outdoor pool by the lodges had a hot tub. I didn't feel comfortable traipsing through the hotel lobby to get to the 2nd floor tower pool area. The coffee shop is excellent all around and staff very attentive and friendly. Loved Trax being right there and free for downtown traveling. Complimentary newspaper was nice. More hot chocolate packets in the room would be a bonus and also a small microwave. Also an extra blanket in the closet. Shower was GREAT! Very nice, roomy and comfortable room.

“Little America for LIFE”

I will only stay in this hotel when I stay downtown. Close to everything, good prices, cozy rooms.
