The hotel itself was fine. Our room was dated to the '50's. PINK tile; old style set-up. Why weren't we asked whether we wanted to stay in the tower - because the courtyard room we had was very disappointing. Couldn't even open the door without (literally) 8-9 tries. Would I recommend this hotel? It depends.

Exceptional

Pros: Absolutely everything. The furnishings the coffee shop, the sports bar, the shops, the staff. like I said everything.
Cons: The are working on some of the property and it would be nice if they would get that done and out of the way. But it is perfectly understandable.
Location: I did above. We walked everyday and the things to do and the places to see were endless. We did not have enough time since we were there for a game.
We were very pleased with everything about the Little America in Salt Lake City. We arrived on Thurs and right away the concierge was helping us to find things to do and was very helpful and very pleasant. Elizabeth was her name. We went to the room and was equally pleased with the accommodations. I thought the location was perfect with lots of restaurants and pubs within close walking distance. And we were right by the Trax. So we were able to go anywhere basically without driving in a city we were unfamiliar with. The restaurants at the Little America are excellent. We have dinner in the new sports bar and the breakfast buffet. They were both excellent. The whole staff was very helpful and made our stay a great experience. We would stay there again without a moments hesitation. .

Very, very nice

Posted Nov 10, 2014
Pros: The staff and the furnishings and cleanliness.
Cons: The pools did not look that great from above.
I was so pleasantly surprised at the quality of this hotel. From the valet service to the food quality. I would definitely stay here rather than the Grand America across the street. This hotel is just about on par with the triple the amount hotel associated with it.

Pros: I loved the beauty of the entrance with all it's marble and the "Antique" look it had. The rooms were beautiful as well. We really enjoyed our stay.
Cons: The bathroom wasn't as clean as it should be. I found a few "other peoples" hair in there like they haden't cleaned it very well from the last guests.
Location: It was close by everything downtown you'd want to do, but far enough away from the noise and activity to have privacy. I liked that.
We were very pleased with our stay at the Little America Hotel. We had never stayed there before and were treated very good while we were staying there. The people working there went out of their way to help/serve us. We ate at the restaurant there and the food was excellent. It was my husbands birthday, and it was perfect, except for some guests that were sitting a few tables over (they were too distracting) but that had nothing to do with the hotel or waiters. Because of the occasion, if I had known it would be destracting sitting by the other table, I would have asked to be moved to a different location in the restaurant. Other than that, it was great.

Beds were terribly uncomfortable, but other than that we had a good stay. We were only there for one night, but I would stay there again. Very conveniently located!

Rooms outside the main building.

Posted Oct 31, 2014
Pros: The main hotel is very pretty but did not get to enjoy it as my room was outside the main hotel.
Cons: I was told by the front desk, they werent sure which rooms Expedia blocked. The room I stayed in did not have a safe, which made me feel uncomfortable
Location: Its a few blocks from the convention centre.
The hotel is very pretty and would have preferred to stay inside the hotel rather than the room outside facing the swimming pool. Although it looked quite safe, while I was opening the door to my room, a homeless woman approached me for money, which made me feel insecure. Once inside the room, it felt claustrophobic, not being able to open a window.
