Close to business

It was good. However I was disappointed that I was not informed at booking that the hotel was undergoing renovation and the pool and hot tub were closed. Room was great, staff was great.

We stay here when we go to Miller Motorsports Park in Tooele. Not many amenities near at hand, but easy access to I-80 West and the airport. Good staff, good breakfast.

Only if you must have a place to stay

Posted Aug 2, 2013
Pros: Near the airport
Cons: see above
Check-in staff indifferent. The new girl that was training was great but the person who was training her shouldn't be on the desk. Room lighting is unacceptable. The hotel uses the lowest possible wattage CFL bulbs. Worse than institutional. Makes you feel drained and blah just sitting in the hotel room. Breakfast is mediocre. Canned fruit on the buffet? Amazingly cheap. Such a slip from what I knew Residence Inn to once be. They are an airport hotel with shuttle service but no definitive time the shuttle runs..."just call us and we'll be there between now and 20 minutes". How does that work for an Airport hotel when you need some specificity.

Okay Place

It was a nice place. Complimentary dinner was a bonus. The front desk was courteous and helpful. The room was quite spacious. There was an issue with them over charging my credit card but the manager took care of it.

This is a GREAT place to stay. It was perfect for me and my son. The pull out couch was good and he had his own tv.

My Marriott

I tavel constantly working with the federal gov. and stay in Residence Inn Marriott when at all possible. I stayed at this one earlier in the year and had the same results. The staff is always friendly and helpful. Housekeeping for some reason always forgets to leave coffee. No big problem. I always have my own for this reason. I love the location of this one. I don't like staying downtown because of the traffic and here I was about 7miles from all the shopping I could ever want including Wal-Mart and barber shops. I do hope to stay here again in the near future.

Low class place

Posted May 31, 2012 on Hotels.com
We stayed at this hotel over Memorial Day weekend. After the first night, they notified us that they had come in and refinished our bathtub so we could not use the shower. They did let us shower in another room. We had reserved two rooms and it happened at both rooms. Kitchen sink drains drained so slow we were sure they would back up if used much. Online advertisement indicated two beds - one of those is a pullout couch bed. Food at the complimentary breakfast was edible, but just barely. Low class.

I apologize your experience at our Residence Inn did not meet your expectations. We strive for every guest to have a problem-free, restful, and enjoyable stay. I am sorry we did not deliver this to you. The project concerning the bathtubs over the holiday weekend is certainly not routine, but I understand the inconvenience caused to you. We appreciate your business and hope to serve you again in the future. Best,
