The pictures for this place are very misleading. We booked a 3 night stay and canceled after the first night. Wifi is a joke barely 1 bar on my laptop. The swimming pool is now a parking lot and the few "ammenities" look to shady to partake in. Holes in the ceiling and blankets, constantly leaking shower, and no outlets to speak of. The tv was ancient and the channel options are laughable. If I didn't have my boyfriend with me I would not have felt safe there for a min. I booked as a single person stay and as a woman on my own they put me all the way in the back parking lot. Away from the main building where I had a lovely view of drug deals and prostitutes. The one saving grace was the front desk staff who didn't charge us for getting a refund. They knew how bad the hotel was and seemed genuinely sorry it couldnt be better. If you find yourself stuck there go to the comfort inn across the parking lot. About $40 extra but so much better.

Disgusting and NO WORKING INTERNETPosted Mar 10, 2014
Cons: FIX THE INTERNET! Fix the shower. Don't advertise premium cable if there isn't. Replace nasty carpets and ripped/damaged things.
Location: It's near everything in the main hub of Salt Lake City. Good location if they would step it up several notches.
The pictures on line made it look like a pleasant standard hotel. IT WAS NOT! Motel 6 would have been 300% nicer. The wi-fi was not working. I was there for a week and attending classes and NEEDED to do my homework assignments, I couldn't and had to go elsewhere to use the internet. I asked about it on day 2 and they said their tech person was fixing it that day, but on day 7 it still wasn't "fixed" and I don't think they ever had anyone working on it. There was no "premium" cable, about 8 channels total. The hotel smelled bad, the wallpaper was peeling, there were ripped holes in the bedcovering, the carpet was sticky and had matted spots, the heater smelled horrible if turned on, there were burn marks all around the sink, though it was a non-smoking room. I could hear people having sex in the rooms above me all through the day and night several of the days I was there with headboards banging and box springs squeaking. Maybe they were renting out the rooms by the hour? The shower didn't work right and sprayed the wall more than my body, and the bathtub was too gross to use. I was thoroughly creeped out. I stay in low budget hotels almost every time I travel. This is the only time I have felt compelled to write a negative review. I was so disappointed in just about every aspect of this hotel, if it would have been possible for me to be refunded and find somewhere else without a wait time for the money to be re-credited to my account I would have done

A Highly Adequate hotel @ a great price.Posted Mar 9, 2014
Pros: I especially appreciated the central location, and the price.
Our rooms was spotless, and smelled really nice (stinky hotels rooms are a real turn-off for me). The rooms are not newly decorated, but the furniture is clean and comfortable. If I were rich I probably wouldn't stay there, but it is good to know that an inexpensive hotel doesn't have to be creepy. The location is very central to the popular attractions of Salt Lake City. We had a lovely stay.

VERY misleading website; Gross, Rundown, ScaryPosted Mar 5, 2014
Cons: Bulldoze it and start over. Has been neglected too long!
Location: Very edge of the "downtown" area with sketchy people all around on the streets.
Booked based on website info/pictures. Should have read more reviews. This would be a bad deal at their normal price, and if there is a large convention in town (Outdoor Retailer) it is a HUGE MISTAKE. The only redeeming thing is that when we checked out after our first night of a 3 night reservation, they didn't hit us with any cancellation fees. Dirty rooms, broken faucet, super loud heater, sandpaper sheets, pillows that smell like ashtrays. Stay Away!

Ghetto bad area, misleading pics, manager was jerkPosted Mar 3, 2014
Missed a connecting flight because the aircraft needed fuel, stuck in Houston all night with two fussy children. Next day manager charged me even though it wasn't my fault didn't even stay there. America. So they robbed me. Glad I missed my flight the hotel was nasty and in a bad area.

Not the most comfortable spot. . .Posted Mar 3, 2014
Pros: Very good location.
Location: Just a short walk from downtown! Starbucks across the street.
While it is very well located if you are hoping to visit downtown SLC, the facility itself is not that comfortable. You can not only hear each spring in the mattress groan when someone moves, but you can feel each and every spring as you try to sleep. Unfortunately only 1/2 of our lights worked and there were some funky stains on the carpet.

Worst room I've ever seen in working hotel.Posted Feb 26, 2014
Cons: Everything. Tear it down and start new.
Location: Convenient location.
Slept in my clothes so I would touch the bedding. The room with filthy with burn holes in the bedding. The drapes were off their track, the lamps twisted at all angles. The carpet was stained everywhere. The maid came in without knocking first...as did the janitor...twice!

Room smelled like smoke but it was good otherwise.

Not what we expectedPosted Feb 15, 2014
Cons: The place needs complete renovation.
It was OK, but too noisy. Sigarette non smoking policy was not followed. Beds were OK, room was clean, place was just worn out. Toilett was old and worn out.
