Salt Lake Marriott Downtown at City Creek

Everything great except no shoe shine avialable. Probably a little expensive in comparison to other hotels near by. Chose due to great location to Temple Square, main attractions and City Creek Mall.

Enjoyed every minute we were there. Very good accommodations and the location couldn't have been better.

Lovely big room but bed very soft to my taste. comfortable otherwise. Check in staff pleasant but couldn't tell me if breakfast was included in my package. I had booked it weeks ago and couldn't remember. Breakfast waiter pleasant and helpful.

Overall great experience. Comfortable beds, very friendly & knowledgeable staff. For example, the concierge was very helpful with helping me plan a ski trip for one day (called resorts to see which ones were still open this late in the season, gave advice on transportation, etc). Gym facilities were excellent, sauna was a very nice touch. Only real complaint is lack of free wifi in the hotel rooms (wifi in the lobby is free though). Wifi was expensive and very slow to get up, but it was fast once activated.

When we checked in, the lady at the front desk told us we had "a nice view of the temple" from our room. I have uploaded a photo. I would say, skip the breakfast buffet. It is expensive, even if you get the room/breakfast deal; not worth the money. The parking garage is a little scary because the ceiling is so low. Overall, the room was fairly nice but the bathroom was tiny.

Good location if you want to be downtown. Parking garage is pretty cramped. Vending machine on our floor didn't work.

Location is great. The lack of safes in rooms is incredible. Breakfast is quite good.

Our room was clean and well laid out. The staff were very friendly. The location is perfect for visiting Temple Square, the Conference Center and City Creek mall. My only disappointment was that the bed sagged in the middle.

Although I only spent one night in this hotel for business, I was very happy with this hotel. The staff was very welcoming and helpful, the room was clean and up to date, and you couldn't beat the location.

Each bed had a reading light which was very nice. However, one of the light was not working and it took them over an hour to send a maintenance to replace the light bulb, even after they told us he was on his way. Both my wife and I were exhausted from a long international flight and so it was a bit inconvenient that we had to wait for him longer than we expected (and we were pretty sure that we were going to use the light when we would wake up in the middle of the night due to the jet lag...) Other than that, we enjoyed the stay, including the breakfast that came with the stay.
