“Excellent accommodations”

The Sheraton in downtown Salt Lake City has been excellent each time I have stayed there. I love having a Starbucks inside the hotel. I sat with my laptop and enjoyed a latte after a long drive. It was very relaxing. The restaurant has excellent food, including a breakfast buffet which is handy for travelers. My room was clean and well cared for. I especially appreciate the free airport shuttle and friendly staff.

Area recommendations

Downtown Salt Lake City has wonderful restaurants, theater and shopping. The hotel shuttle takes people to the airport, so staying in this area is no problem.

“Great Stuff”

The hotel was great! Staff was nice. Conveniently located to great restaraunts and bars, a mall and a movie theater that served beer! We will stay here again next time in Salt Lake City.

“How much does a back-up generator cost?”

You would think that a reasonable sized hotel would have the foresight to install a back-up generator. The power went out from 12:50 AM to 3:30 AM. No lights, no phones, dark hallways and no way to talk to anyone without going through dark hallways and steps on the outside of the hotel. When I asked about it in the morning, the gentleman behind the desk said, "I don't know". No mention of being sorry that my evening was screwed up, no offer of compensation, nothing. I also don't like being gouged for Wi-Fi. The whole experience was very annoying, and their lack of willingness to accept accountability was even more so. I'd think I'd hesitate before recommending anyone stay there.

“Fine hotel”

Have now had 2 stays this year at the Sheraton Down Town SLC. My experience was positive. Bedroom and bathroom very clean. Facilities good. Breakfast delicous with an accomodating chef. Helpful reception staff. Great prices. I have only 2 negative points from my most recent stay. The room was overlooking the 'garden' next to reception and a crowd had gathered outside of the bar, their loud laughter and merriment from alcohol consumption made it difficult to get to sleep. It was winter weather and the need to use the heater arose. It rattled so much, that also kept me awake.

“Very comfy accomidations”

We stay in SLC quite often, but have never stayed here before. We were extremely satisfied guests, and would not only stay here again, but would sent our friends and family here also. Thank You Sheraton and Expedia.

“Great Price for a Beautiful Hotel”

The rooms are kind of small, but I think that is because it is an older hotel that was recently remodled, but overall we thought it was extremely clean and modern. Another great thing is the Starbucks in the lobby and the pool and spa area are just wonderful. And it is convienently located to shopping and great food!!!
