Pros: Quiet.
Cons: Breakfast included.
Location: On the outskirts of town, so walking isn't the best option. The bus/train is a short walk and helpful.
I may be white trash, but I could've stayed at a number of neighboring hotels that included breakfast AND saved hundreds of dollars!

Nice hotel, good location

Posted Apr 15, 2015
We stayed 3 nights for our anniversary. Location was good, easy access to all areas of the city. Parking was simple and easy, staff was nice, but the room was a different story. It was clean, had nice size TV and bathtub, but it was extremely noisy. You could hear every neighbor, every door shut in the hall, and every conversation as people walked down the hall. The bed was not very comfortable, sheets were scratchy. But or stay as a whole was nice, location and parking made it the best choice for us.

Salt Lake Boring!

Posted Apr 9, 2015
The hotel was good, it's a convention town with the usual side affects, lots of men, way over priced, reason being, everyone here is on business and not paying. The sports bar, where I had dinner, was really dull, food average, bartender eating behind the bar, and again, a chicken Parmesan was really expensive for what you got ($19) no side salad, no bread. Anyhow it was just a overnight stay on travels south. Next time I would take a more budget friendly option as for the money, this place isn't worth it.

Perfect one night stay

The room was comfortable. Parking was far from room. Hotel is close to downtown. We walked everywhere. It would be nice if the Wi-Fi was free.

Overall the hotel was very nice and the hotel staff was excellent. The hotel is due for updating, especially for the room rates they charge.

No help in sight

Posted Mar 16, 2015
Pros: Location, parking
Cons: A doorman would be useful
Location: Olympic bobsled ride
I arrived at 5 pm on a Thursday after a long flight from Australia and a drive from the airport with 4 heavy bags. It was impossible to find anyone to help me unload the car, move the bags into the hotel, or suggest where I should park the car. Hotels used to have doormen. At $199 per night in SLC they still ought to have. Hopeless effort really.

Great customer service

Australian staff at front desk were very friendly helping me organise my ride up to snowbird, when checking in it was fast and efficient and the bus driver from the hotel who transferred me from the airport to hotel gave me a bit of a down low about the area of SLC, room was clean and the bed was super comfortable! Would stay again.

Great value!

Pros: The room had a 42 inch plasma tv, had a nice view, and the bathroom was larger than what you normally find in a single room with king size bed.
Cons: The 5th Street Grill experience.
My wife and I were very satisfied with the value, comfort and cleanliness of the room. We requested a room on an upper floor, amd not only did they do that for us, they gave us a free upgrade to a "preferred" customer. We will look for the Sheraton brands next time we travel. I was not as enthused about the 5th Street Grill Restaurant as the in-house choice of dining, as they seemed a little over their heads the night we were there. The food was prepared well and made with quality ingredients, but was overpriced and we had to sort through several issues through dinner. The sever was very friendly and had a great attitude, but worked too many tables to handle everything on her plate efficiently.
