It's an apartment not a hotelPosted Jul 20, 2013
Cons: Update everything.
Location: The location is pretty shady.
Hotel/apartment in shady area in Salt Lake City. Walls are pretty thin, very small TV. Out dated.

Great Room, Great PricePosted Jul 9, 2013 on Hotels.com
This hotel was great for the price. My husband and I stayed in the studio apartment. I love that there is a kitchen stocked with dishes, pots, and pans. It helps save a lot of money when staying for more than one night. I loved how close the hotel was to downtown Salt Lake (around 2 miles). The main office has free coffee, hot chocolate, and popcorn for guests. Loved that the tv had a DVD player. The water pressure from the shower was horrible during our stay, but after telling the front desk when we checked out, they said they'd fix it right away and I believe them. It was a great stay.

Convenient to downtown & the airport.Posted Jul 9, 2013
Pros: Being condo style, the day it rained my family visiting was very comfortable in my "room". Having space & a kitchen to prepare meals was a great plus
Cons: The need to replace the missing DVD remotes; & inform guests of towel charges
Location: In between downtown, with endless possibities including Temple Square, & the airport. Not a neighborhood to leave the complex & go walking around.
The pool & yards are very nice. The upgraded old brick apartments had a warm, cozy, home feeling. Big old trees & flower gardens made a lovely oasis from the cars, pavement, & city heat. Everything was clean & very nice. The only problem we had was no remote for the DVD player. The front desk responded with the excuse someone had accidently thrown away all the remotes when they recently replaced the machines. If that were true, why didn't management obtain some more instead of just leaving the units without? When local family came to visit & swim, we dropped the wet towels in the empty laundry basket by the door, as we left the pool area. When I went to the front desk to obtain more dry ones, I was told you have to turn them in to receive more. They are counted & clients are charged for missing towels. I was mad, no one told me upon checkin, nor were their signs near the pools. When I said I refused to pay for them because I thought I was returning them, the front office supervisor stepped in informing me it was a clause in the agreement I signed. They don't have a laundry basket there by the laundry room, so it must have belonged to a guest; & I would be charged. Lucky for me someone turned them in the next day. Remember to guard your towels, they are nice ones & not cheep!

Good value, close to airport parking.Posted Jul 8, 2013
Pros: I liked that it is very close to airport parking. And it was a good price for one night.
Location: It's close to downtown Salt Lake City, but we were headed to the airport early the next morning. Didn't even check out the continental breakfast.
This is a longer term residence, but we stayed only one night. The rooms are studios with kitchenettes, so we had plenty of room to relax. Our room was spotless and in good repair. The neighbors were a little noisy, but quieted down eventually.

Hotel location is great for what we were in Salt Lake City for. Comfort is good except electric cook stove did not work, hot and cold water were reversed in kitchen. Loft is great, but would be better if bathroom was also available in loft.

Stay elsewherePosted Jun 20, 2013 on Hotels.com
A friend and I flew in to SLC and stayed here the first night, which was fine because there was no one above us. Upon our return, we stayed 2 nights, again in the same room, on the bottom floor, but this time a family with children were above us. There was very little insulation to buffer the noise they made. The room smelled heavily of cleaning products when we first entered, but after airing out the room, it was tolerable. The room was never cleaned after the first night of the second stay. Lastly, the sofa bed was not comfortable.

Great gym, pool and hot tubPosted Jun 10, 2013
Pros: Apartment style. Lots of room and an eat in whenever ear you like.
Cons: A little updating of furniture and electronics would nice.
Not much in the way of close restaurants but Tracks is just across the street with quick ride to airport or downtown.

Nightmare ExperiencePosted Apr 24, 2013 on Hotels.com
The room had a horrible smell. It was much smaller than we expected from the photos online and it was not very clean. The front office was not very helpful and said they could not help us and there is nothing they could do. Couldn't take the smell and had to go get and pay for another hotel. Horrible experience.
