Room - OK, Amenities - Not So Much

Posted Apr 28, 2015
Room was clean, compact. Bath towels were small, facial tissue disintegrated easily, breakfast selections and room were minimal.

Room needs new door

Posted Apr 17, 2015
Pros: The staff was very friendly and helpful. The entire place was very clean. The breakfast was awesome!--lots of food!
Cons: The door.
Location: It is close to some office buildings that we needed to go to.
There was a large gap between the door and the door frame such that we could see right out into the hallway even when the door was closed. (And I suppose anyone in the hallway could look in. This also let in a lot of noise from outside the room

Cheap ski trip

Posted Mar 30, 2015
Pros: Cheap, easy access to skiing, bacon, hot tub.
Cons: Pool area needs detailing it might scare more timid travelers.
Location: Ski, what else is there to do in SLC? (we found some pretty good restaurants).
It's an older 2 star hotel, that cost about 25% of staying in Park City, you get what you paid for but in this case you get more. Rooms were clean, came with a fridge, coffee pot and microwave, mine had an over sized shower that looked new. Beds were comfortable. Breakfast included coffee, juice, bacon, waffles and pastries (did I mention bacon?). Right on the interstate, 20 minutes from little cottonwood canyon (the best skiing in SLC). But less than a hour from 9 ski resorts. The pool area was enclosed in glass, could use a good cleaning, or refurbish, but the hot tub was large and hot, and well chlorinated for you germ-a-phobes. I wish I was there right now.

Right off the interstate

Posted Mar 21, 2015
Cons: SMALL TINY BREAKFAST AREA
The manager is very nice and wants to make your stay as enjoyable as possible. They have an indoor swimming pool for the kids and one washer and dryer available for longer stays, which was convenient for us. They have a free continental breakfast; however, the room is REALLY REALLY SMALL and almost uncomfortable at times when there are lots of people getting breakfast. If they renovate, they should knock down a wall to make that room larger. Other than that, we were happy with our stay.

Great Location

Posted Mar 19, 2015
Pros: Hot tub, pool, breakfast, cleanliness.
Cons: More blankets available.
We stayed here to attend a family wedding. The room was nicely appointed, the pool and hot tub were great, the morning breakfast offerings were appreciated. We stayed here a whole week and I was perfectly happy with the hotel choice.

It's OK

Posted Mar 17, 2015
It's a little difficult to access unless you know exactly how to get in there. You have to make a U-turn after exiting off I-15. The room was clean, the hotel staff was very nice and friendly. The only thing that I didn't like was the size of the beds. We had booked a room with double beds and they seemed very small. Neither my husband nor myself are tall, 5'7" and 5'9" and both of us had our feet hanging over the end of the bed. The pool and hot tub are in an enclosed space outside of the hotel area. I didn't make it out there to try them out just because of our time schedule.

Price was right

Posted Mar 16, 2015
Pros: Close to needed venues
Cons: Better insulation of water and drain pipes in walls and ceilings
Room quite small, but clean. Plumbing in walls and ceiling was pretty noisy ("cracking," "tapping," and "waterfall" noises) during night, when neighbor above flushed toilet, took a shower or turned over in bed. Facial tissues terrible. Continental breakfast very good

Good Hotel for the Price

Posted Mar 10, 2015
Pros: The price was right. It was reasonably clean, and fairly well run. Nice breakfast in the morning.
Cons: An elevator is DEFINITELY needed. The access to the pool and spa should not require a walk outdoors. It should be enclosed. Rooms a bit tight.
Location: Location decent for Skiers and shoppers. A nice gym nearby. Many restaurants and shopping nearby.
Hotel was clean, and run fairly smoothy. An elevator would make life a whole lot easier for those of us who had 2nd floor rooms. The access to the pool and spa was a bit inconvenient as it requires a walk outdoors. Also, the rooms are a bit tight, especially the doubles with two people. A nice breakfast was served, although I've had better. Overall, however, this is a good value for those who desire reasonable accommodations that are fairly comfortable.

Cheap and Convenient

Posted Feb 16, 2015
Pros: Price
Cons: Updated. Beds are old.
Location: Location was one of the reasons we chose this hotel.
It is an older hotel and is in need of a little updating but it was cheap and close to where we needed to be.
