“Great summer time room value in beautiful place near Salt Lake City”
5 stars awarded for all categories except onsite restaruant food prices and options. Room service prices were not outragious and wafood s actually quite good.
“Ski and spa at Snowbird”
The Cliff Lodge is a great hotel. Though the outside is not warm or welcoming, the inside is surprising comfortable, and the staff (particularly the valet and concierge staff) are warm and accomodating. Just walk outisde the hotel, put on your skis, and you can ski down to the Snowbird tram. Spa on top floor is great, amazing views.
“Snowbirds Best Hotel”
This hotel is a must for anyone staying at Snowbird. Great hotel with onsite bars, slope side hot tubs and right on the ski slope. Ski straight from the front door to the chair and can ski straight back to the door at the end of the day. No walking required. Everything you need. I will be back for sure.
“Easy access to all you need”
The staff was pleasant, the location great and lots to do within the lodge.
“Will go again!!!”
Very pleased with everything. Mexican restaurant in hotel is EXCELLENT!! Everyone very nice, beautiful location. Want to go again soon.
“Parking is a problem”
Unless you use valet parking, it is quite a hike to the self park lot. The room and the food were pricey as you might expect for a "resort" area.
“Best location to the slopes.”
Very nice hotel. Great view of the mountain. Didn't mind sitting in the room after a hard day on the slopes.
“Definitely would stay again!”
We had a great stay; this hotel has everything you would need. The room was very nice and clean. Flat screen TVs and down blankets and pillows were a nice touch. The food at the hotel is great, the breakfast buffet on the top floor is a little on the expensive side but well worth it! Hotel staff is very accommodating to needs, we loved the pool side cocktail service while we relaxed in the hot tubs. Hotel is also within walking distance to the Snowbird center. On site ski lockers and lift ticket window make it easy to get on the slopes in the morning. Snow was AMAZING!!!!
“Great vacation”
The beds and pillows were amazing! The staff was pretty friendly and helpful. A good experience
“Cliff Lodge & Spa: Almost Perfect”
We've traveled a LOT and speak plainly about our experiences. The Cliff was just great. The hotel portion gets a perfect score from me. Check-in, room service, facilities are all +A. The Spa, likewise, gets my highest praise. There was 1 problem and it was, in my humble opinion, significant. The Aerie restaurant is supposed to be their crowning establishment, but the service, and I must say the management as well, was absolutely terrible. I personally witnessed a couple get up and leave because no one came to their table to serve them. These people patiently waited for half of an hour before walking out. Our service, at a neighboring table, was similar, but at least we had cocktails while we waited. Their buffet breakfast is acceptable, if only because it's self service. The real secret of the Cliff is the Mexican restaurant in the basement. Their service was EXCELLENT. Their food was OUTSTANDING. I say move the Mex place to the top floor and move the Aerie...to the dumpster. All in all, the hotel is a model for ski resorts. Just skip the white linen tablecloths on the 9th floor!
