it was ok, the carpet was dirty, besides that ok

Posted Oct 12, 2014
Pros: it was easy to get to and find, and had plenty of parking, staff was friendly and ready to help with different needs. the beds were comfortable
Cons: a more thorough cleaning of the room, floor and windows
Location: there is a gas station next to it with a little store, it is close to the light rail, easy access to the freeway, close to the downtown area
the staff was nice and kept the room clean to some degree, we were on the second floor by the stairs and had to walk to the elevator to bring our things up or down and my mother needed to use the elevator as stairs were difficult for her. the staff was nice, trying to keep things cleaned up, and responded when we complained about the noisy people one night. the beds were comfortable. We had to leave a day early because of my mothers health problems. Found the floor stained and sticky the window didn't lock and was dirty as well.

The room was dark. The toilet ran often. At least the room was clean and the bed was wonderful!

Hotel well locatif

Posted Sep 13, 2014
Good price for value. The hotel is very well located. I stayed only one night. Perfect place to stay 1 or 2 nights maximum. I found a lot of restaurants close to the hotel. I was going to Las Vegas from Yellowstone. So it was a good stop over. People really friendly but forget about the breakfast (only if you need a coffee to weak up). I was happy to visit Salt Lake City. The city is beautiful, very clean and friendly people. Voila, I said everything about it. Perfect place for a routard.

Great deal close to downtown

Posted Sep 8, 2014
The bed was super comfy, the service was fantastic. For the price, I felt like this hotel was a steal. Great location. The only drawback was the shower. It was super small, not very clean and the water was cold the entire time. For a quick overnight stay, it was okay to deal with, however if I stayed any longer, I would have requested a different room with a better shower.

Basic accommodation

Posted Sep 1, 2014
Pros: Location. Tempurpedic bed was comfy.
Cons: The lighting in the room was extremely poor. Forget about reading in bed. The a/c unit worked, but was noisy. Would keep a light sleeper awake.
Location: See above
Hotel is clean, and near downtown SLCs dining, shopping, and Temple Square (15 minute walk). Be aware that it's also near Skid Row, and if you spend time on the street you will encounter homeless. Furniture is from the early 1980s at the latest, and is tired to say the least. The "continental breakfast" was a waste of time; consisted of cheap, sugary pastries and some apples.

Close to downtown and trolley

Hotel appears run down; room was clean but in need of upgrading (broken tile, mirror). Attendants were apathetic, one kept watching soccer on tv. The evening clerk knew nothing about downtown:where to park, how far to temple square... For the price, it was ok.

Clean but needs work

Posted Aug 25, 2014
Pros: Clean, staff nice
TV remote batteries held in by duct tape had to keep pressure on to change channels, toilet would not flush completely without holding down handle. Rooms need updating

Good inn for this price

Posted Aug 11, 2014
Pros: Bed, price, location
Cons: breakfast, noise control.
Location: Good location. Can visit Mormon Cathedral and Utah capitol hall within walking distance. There are a couple of good restaurants around as well.
Pros: Beds were soft and comfortable. Location was wonderful, close to downtown, walking distance to Mormon cathedral and civic center. Breakfast was average level. Cons: bathroom was too small. There's a garbage collecting truck working in the yard at midnight, which was very annoying and made me hard to fall asleep.
