“very impressed, highly recommend”

we stayed at 4 other 4 star hotels while in germany and austria and found this hotel to be by far the best. the room was very clean and spacious with the furnishings of that of a house. the staff were very accommodating and i highly recommend this hotel. in addition, the train station is within walking distance. the breakfast buffet, included with the room, was very good.

“Highly recommend”

We stayed in a junior suite and were extremely pleased. The front desk staff are wonderful. Rooms are spotless clean, comfortable, and quiet. The European breakfast was great -- they always had a carafe full of coffee on each table.

“Easy access to train station and city center”

Great location--5 minute walk to train, 15 minute walk to downtown. Delicious breakfast buffet; hot punch available in lobby. Small intimate hotel, kept very nicely.

“Great place”

We loved this hotel. Yes, one needed to walk a bit to get to the city center but the distances are very short in reality and the hotel was very near the train station which was also convenient. The room was terrific and the cleaning staff did an excellent job. One minor complaint- I wish Expedia would post internet prices on the web because the wireless internet service was very expensive ($35/day or $10/hour). On the other hand, they did have a computer with free internet in the lobby.

“Good value for money”

Very near to train station. Reception lady was very helpful and accomodating. They were facing some problems with their computer in the lounge and asked me to use their officer computer for internet. Rooms were clean. Breakfast was good. I would always like to stay in this hotel whenever i go there again.

We enjoyed our stay very much! The hotel and restaurant were classy establishments. Having breakfast included made a good start to the day. If we have a chance we will certainly stay there again!

Hotel was within walking distance to train station and super market close by. They had free internet in room and down stairs. Place to store bags. Very cozy hotel and good location for the price.

Large guest rooms. Huge bathrooms. I didn't like the bed, but I like a firmer mattress than the one we had.Overall, a very good hotel.

The room was nice with a fairly large bedroom area, separate bath and toilet and closet space. The breakfast was excellent with many choices. Location was about a 20-30 min walk to the old town (and I walk pretty fast) however the bus and tram stop is 2 mins away and 3-4 stops to the city. Department store across the street with a full market which was nice. Would definately stay there again.

“Old World Charm in Salzburg”

We spent four days in Salzburg and were happy as clams in this hotel! The closeness to the main train station and the bus/tram line, as well as the Austrian charm of this hotel made this a perfect place to stay. The breakfast was fantastic, our room comfie and the free wireless internet was a real bonus. Would definitely stay here again - great value!
