Iron, what iron had to wait two days.Posted Aug 22, 2013 on Hotels.com
Having to wait two days to get the use of an iron was pretty poor considering it is advertised as being available. Carpets need a good clean. Coffee at breakfast barely warm same with eggs, etc. Good points, well air conditioned rooms, ice in bucket on request, printing of boarding passes by front desk. 90% of staff helpful.

Would not returnPosted Aug 22, 2013
Pros: The restaurant was the best thing about it. Good food and service.
Cons: The shower was hard to use without getting the floor wet.
Location: There is nothing nearby. It's a 20-30 minute walk to tourist attractions.
Hotel was just OK. Carpeting in room was stained but the room was clean, quiet and comfortable. The biggest problem was the location. It is in a run-down residential/commercial neighborhood and a fairly long walk to tourist attractions. There were no nearby restaurants and, not wanting to walk in the neighborhood of the hotel after dark, we chose to eat at the hotel's restaurant which turned out to be surprisingly good.

Dear Sue, Thank you for taking the time to comment on your stay. Let me begin by apologizing for the incontinences you experienced. I regret that you do not like the location of the Hotel where you can take most of the important sightseeings (Mirabellgarden, Linzer Gasse, Getreidegasse, Cathedral...) in a 10-20 minute walk or 5-7 minute drive by bus nr. 2 or 4. But I am happy to hear that you like our restaurant. Thank you. We truly hope you will visit us again so we can restore your confidence in our hotel. Best wishes to Tennessee C. Comfortable and walking distance from the action.Posted Aug 8, 2013
Pros: Clean, comfortable, helpful staff.
Location: Walking distance from the old city.
Nice, comfy and clean. Easy walking distance to the old city. Very helpful staff. We were able to have a family room, that consisted of 2 separate rooms connected by a lockable hall. Parking was available and easy to access. Staff gave us excellent directions and recommendations.

Mediocre hotel in poor locationPosted Jul 31, 2013 on Hotels.com
This hotel is a 20-25 minute walk from the touristy center (Also, I tend to be a fast walker). More disappointing is that it is located in a boring residential/commercial neighborhood with no restaurants or anything of interest to tourists nearby. The service at the front counter was good. Unfortunately, there is no free wifi and the pay wifi only works in the lobby. There is also one free computer for guests to use in the lobby. The room was big and generally clean. It was also air conditioned, which was essential when it was 40 Celsius outside when I stayed there in July. However, there were some strange occurrences. The room has automatic blinds (outside the window, operated by a switch inside the room) and 2 of the nights I stayed there, they automatically opened by themselves around 10 pm. I tried to close them with the switch but it didn't work. I was not fully dressed and had to quickly close the curtains inside the room. Also, the cleaning staff did a mediocre job, not replacing the bath mat, soap, and actually throwing out my own toothbrush and toothpaste that I left out in the bathroom one morning. Overall, I would recommend this hotel only if you are getting a great deal and don't mind a long walk. Otherwise, look for something closer to town.

Dear Gary from Vancouver, Thank you for taking time for your review about your stay. Please take my sincere apologize about the automatic blinds and the cleaning staff. Be sure that we already fixed both items. I am happy to read that you liked the air condition, service at the front office. The staff and I hope to welcome you again in this beautiful city.
