The location was good. 10mins from main rail station. Bit noisy because railway locates just next to the room but I don't care about that so it was fine. However I guess there also live normal person that apartment. Guess some students who study music live there so I had to listen there play until nearly midnight. And I woke because of them. Well but they are good player so I didnt get stressed at least.. The room was cozy but comfortable. Also host was really kind and breakfast was good than I expected!!

It was enjoyable, but not outstanding. The hotel needs a coat of paint, a bit shabby. The breakfast was excellent. Close to historical areas and transportation. I would return, good value.

Pros: Hearty breakfast and fresh warm croissants, delicious.
Cons: no lift
Location: just a short walk to bus park, over the bridge to central attractions and much to visit
Great hotel for Pensioners. Very pleasing greeting and receptionist kindly carried suitcases upstairs as no lift. Very clean room and en-suite which I consider most important. Centre not far, over the bridge after a short walk through the lovely park and key for use if late back Everything thought out for customers and friendly hotel.

I stayed in the Lechner pension for three nights in May 2012 and was very badly bitten by bed bugs. I had over 100 bites on my hands, arms, legs, neck, back, and feet. The itching was unbearable and the bites gave me fatigue and fever. Worst of all, the management and staff couldn't care less about the problem. On the afternoon after my first night, I started to notice bites coming out but I couldn't tell anyone because the hotel reception shuts at 6pm. When I spoke to the receptionist the next day, she was surly and unapologetic, but agreed to clean my room properly. During that day, more bites started coming out. They were so itchy it was unbearable. I went back to the hotel in the afternoon and told them I wanted to check out and that I was not willing to pay for a bug infested room. There was no apology. I asked to speak to the manager who was on the phone to the receptionist. He refused to speak to me three times. He did not want to do anything to compensate me for the inconvenience and discomfort. It was only because I kept complaining that he eventually agreed to waive the fee for the nights I had been bitten and move me to another room. However, when I returned to the hotel that night, I found bed bugs in the carpet. (I have videos of these). Needless to say I got bitten all over again that night. I know bed bugs can occur anywhere but the way it was dealt with was totally unacceptable. I'd never stop here again even without bed bugs. The service was atrocious.
