“All around great!”
In all aspects this hotel is an excellent choice. Helpful staff, good breakfast, super location, clean and comfortable. I wouldn't stay anywhere else in Salzburg.
“Great stay in Salzburg”
The hotel has a very friendly staff that speaks English. It is conveniently located near all the old city sights. Getting to the new city sights was a short 10 minute walk away. Great restaurant and shopping nearby. The rooms could use some updating, but they were clean and comfortable.

“Great hotel in the center of Old Town Salzburg”
We stayed 4 nights at Hotel Weisse Taube in Salzburg during the 2010 Christmas holiday. The hotel has in a great location in the old town, literally around the corner from the Cathedral. Weisse Taube is a comfortable hotel in a charming late medievil building. The included breakfast was good and typical of Austrian and German hotels: fruit, crossiants and pastries, cold ham and cheese, yogurt etc. The room was comfortable and good size with a nice bathroom, in room safe, TV etc. The best part was the friendly and helpful staff. Melanie in particularly was great. She contacted us several months before we arrived to alert us to the need to reserve dinner reservations in advance for Christmas Eve. She sent us an extensive list of possible options with menu information and prices and followed up to get additional options to meet our time commitment. She then made reservations for us. While we were there she also volunteered to check in with our tour provider to arrange a hotel pickup. The hotel has a computer for guest use in the lobby and also has reasonably priced Wifi connection (both are only a couple of Euros per day). All in all a great stay in a beautiful city.
