horrible night's stayPosted Nov 20, 2013
Cons: They should not rent out those single rooms right by the bar
I had a single room at the hotel. It is was behind the kitchen, down a dark hall. The only good thing I can say about the room was that it was clean. It had a half window (like a basement) but it was on the first floor, so it was dark an unappealing. In addition the bar next door had a live band, it spimded like the band was in my room until the stopped at midnight. It was the worst hotel I have eery stayed in.

Holiday Get-Away!!!Posted Sep 15, 2013
Pros: Even thou it was close to town, it was also a private get-away to have a small party before hitting the clubs.
Location: absolutely perfect the location ... 5 minute walk to the markets.
My Partner and I totally loved our stay at the hotel. We wanted to stay close to town for the Teuila Festival. The service was awesome, people were great and amazing. Waking up every morning with the warm sun blazing up in the sky. Recommend to anyone to stay at this hotel.

No FrillsPosted Sep 2, 2013 on Hotels.com
As a frequent visitor to the island ie monthly from NZ, the fare from airport to town is $50 tala. The 'Milenia' Van driver they had to pick up guests did not state the fare at the beginning, as I was the only one, he tried to charge $60 tala. This left me with a sour taste. However if you are in the van with others usual fee is $30 per visitor. I had booked a Delux Ocean Room. Coffee / Tea / Sugar Satchets are in the room, but NO milk or creamer. So if you arrive after midnight remember to request milk/creamer. Often forget this and s quite annoying when you wake or want a drink of tea and there is NO creamer or milk . The rooms are tidy and spacious and service is friendly but sometimes slow. Although I only stayed from 1.30am to 10.30am this time, I had a good sleep, had a refreshing swim in their pool and their complimentary breakfast of selection of fruit/ cereals and baked beans/ scrambled eggs toast and . Overall good value for what they offer and where they are located. Didnt use their internet as there are many other options that are less expensive.

Ain't going there againPosted Aug 31, 2013
Pros: The tropical touch of papaya, coconut pieces and supo-esi at breakfast was quite nice. The position of the restaurant overlooking the water was neat.
Cons: Double-check room cleanliness. Quality flannels... not some cheap thin material. Pool not as inviting.
Location: Adjacent to other hotels, nice restaurant next-door at Amanaki Hotel. Nice short walk and you're in the middle of town.
We stayed at Hotel Millenia in early hours of the morning to await our check-in time with another hotel 200m away. Much to our disgust was having walked into our room smelling of what seemed like someone had just done a dump in the toilet and it was rotten. The 2 porters were quick to switch on the air-con, hoping for the smell to go away. The were both uneasy knowing that we were far from being welcomed at that point. The room felt a bit cramped. Needs to be dusted properly especially the corners. The shower was very dirty with what seemed to be back-flow of dirty gunk from previous use of shower. We left to shower at our other hotel 3hrs earlier than usual check-in time.

I was put in the older part of the hotel and while my room was adequate, the standard of cleanliness was very poor. The rubbish tin was not emptied from the previous guest and there was a terrible smell coming from the drain in the shower. On this basis I would not stay here again.

Milenia - GoodPosted Jul 1, 2013 on Hotels.com
A pleasant quiet room for what I required,an overnight restful sleep, contained ensuite, aircon, fridge and tea/coffee making service. No frills, standard service, pleasant staff. Basic but filling complimentary breakfast. Lots of areas for improvement.

Family hotel or hotspot?Posted Jun 30, 2013
Pros: The pool and the location
Cons: Noise and poor wifi access.
The hotel is in a good location, looking over the harbour, and the pool setting was pleasant, But I chose it partly for wifi access ( being on a business trip) and there was no wifi in the room as advertised on the web site, staff were unhelpful about where the wifi hotspots were.Breakfast was included, which was good (although the hot dishes were often cold), and the restaurant was OK ( mediocre food, same as everywhere else). Staff friendly and helpful when asked, but noone took the initiative to fix things until asked. The main problem was the fact that the restaurant was also a local bar, with ;loud music playing several nights, and the nightclub next door was even rowdier. The hotel seemed confused about whether it was a family/business hotel or a local hotspot.

Great locationPosted Jun 11, 2013 on Hotels.com
Comfortable rooms and good customer service. Bathroom need to be cleaned properly otherwise the rest of the room was well kept. Some issues with wireless reception however this was not provided by the hotel. All up it was a comfortable stay with no big issues. Complimentary breakfast was a nice addition.

DisappointingPosted May 20, 2013 on Hotels.com
We were placed in an "ocean view room" that did not have an ocean view. It was out-of-date, unclean and smelt like mould. The food was tasteless and didn't seem to be prepared in clean conditions. It is a nice close walk to town.
