Uncomfortable experiencePosted Apr 19, 2014
The experience at this resort was well beyond what we had anticipated...in a negative way. It is completely overrated. Definitely would not recommend this place to any travellers.

The best ever holiday experiencePosted Jan 6, 2014
My wife and I have just finished a 15 day stay at Sinalei and could not rave more highly about the resort. Where to start?, the setting, grounds, buildings are all just stunning and maintained meticulously, the friendliness and efficiency of the staff was way above expectations and the food, especially the seafood was consistently better than we have ever experienced. A special note for the efforts of the management who on a number of occasions went way above the call of duty for us. We had an ocean view room which was spacious, clean, very comfortable and not 10 mts from the beach and again exceeded expectations. The resort is perfect if all you wish to do is relax by the pool and enjoy the spa experience however if you do wish to experience all Samoa has to offer, hiring a car to get around is a must, as the public transport is infrequent and impractical for the tourist. There is an abundance to do in Samoa but it is scattered throughout the two main islands.

Perfect GetawayPosted Dec 9, 2013 on Hotels.com
This resort is a wonderful retreat. The grounds are beautiful, full of tropical plants and neatly done, creating a real oasis. It is quite isolated from tourist attractions/shopping on the island, but taxis are readily available to take you anywhere you need to go. The food at the restaurant on the pier is sublime, and the service there is warm and welcoming. The spa service is a relaxing treat, we can recommend the candlelight deal with a twin massage and a jacuzzi overlooking the beach with a glass of wine! We stayed in an Ocean View room which was not luxurious for western standards, but had good aircon, good showers, and comfy seating. Also had a deck with lounges and a covered seating area to enjoy the views from. This place was just beautiful, and we would highly recommend it to people who want to sit back and relax, and enjoy island life.

Lovely resort in a beautiful part of Samoa. Wish we'd had more time to enjoy a massage and some paddle boarding!

Amazing spot with wonderful people.Posted Sep 3, 2013
Pros: The staff, food and location were all fantastic.
Cons: The beds were sub par and the older villas could do with some repairs.
Only 50 metres from a beautiful reef full of fish and the most caring and friendly staff made for a very enjoyable honeymoon for my new wife and I.
