This is an ideally located hotel for access to the city and the airport. The room was clean and well attended to by housekeeping. The reception staff were very helpful with my requests and arranging airport Transportaion. The area around to the hotel has many markets with great bargains, far better than the tourist markets in the city area.

Enjoyed my stay very much. Rooms are big staff is very sweet. Some insects issues though. They spray on a daily basis and the smell is too strong. Great value for the money.

Almost perfect!
Everything was good, and then some. It’s not a perfect review because I wanted a king, not two doubles put together. My back is unforgiving. But I will stay again for sure. Food, location, staff all great!

Loved the large size of room, seating areas. Very clean. Convenient buffet breakfast for 160 baht, daily free shuttle to BTS station. Very pretty little pool. Only thing not wonderful was firmness of bed, but large soft pillows made up for that. Staff were very helpful. Really a gem of a place imo.

Mediocre hotel for the price you pay
Check in needed cash deposit. Wifi was not working in my room and needed to connect to another nearby room instead. Water heater was not hot enough despite on max. About a 12min actual walk to the BTS Samrong station. For the price though one can't complain too much.

Checked in past midnight at 2.30am Receptionist wasn’t welcoming at all Didn’t feel like I was a guest. Abrupt and rude. Then continue playing with his phone At 11am told the hotel reception that I was mistaken of the address of hotel. I thought it’s located near the city where Silom is and told them I booked 3 nights. I was intending to move hotel and they said anytime. I will only be charged for 1 night. I came back at 1.30pm from lunch and another receptionist said I will be charged for 2 nights and only 1 night reimbursed back to my account. How can I be in the hotel for less than 12 hours and I’m charged for 2 days stay? I battled with this and he said he has to check with his manager who was off duty. At the same time Consultant From Expedia was calling to verify and this issue dragged till 7pm unresolved. That forced me to leave, checkout and moved to the city without booking another hotel yet ... WORST EXPERIENCE EVER! Expedia should highly consider to breakaway the partnership with Marigold. The photos published was far from its facade in reality. It’s definitely a 2 Star standard

Location & Value Can not be beat..
I have been coming to Marigold for last 3 years for my yearly visit to Samut Prakarn. It's location, convenient, condition, service & value of this hotel is Excellent! It's as I expected very friendly staffs. Best!!, in this area. I stay here 4-5 days at a time. I feel that I get more for my money.

Not the best in terms of location, quite a walk to the nearest Samrong BTS and crowded area. Hotel condition is good however there is an over-powering air-freshener in the entire hotel, especially in the room. Those with sensitive noses suggest to stay away!

pubic hair in the bed
OMG it was filthy. We pulled back the blanket and there was pubic hair in the bed. And you could see the sheet was soiled. It was disgusting. We told the front desk about it he came up and brushed the sheet off with his hand and said he didn't know what he could do about it. He left and we waited for him to call and he never did. No suggestion of an upgrade or downgrade or a sideways move or another room or anything. It was disgusting. Don't go there.

Good value and clean hotel
Great stay, great value but it's not easy to find. Taxis have a hard time finding this place. Good parking fir customers. I will stay Here again.

Hotel very hard to find and isolated
Although clean and having pleasant staff, this hotel is far from the city and other tour attractions. So one has to spend a fair amount on Taxis and Trains. The hotel is hard to find and Taxi drivers kept getting lost and some did not want to go there especially from the city. The hotel's airport transfer is quite costly but opted to it as ordering a taxi was unreliable.

Relaxing among the chaos of Bangkok
Very clean hotel with a nice "boutique" feel. Good value for money. Would recommend to book your room without breakfast and to check yourself in the morning if you want to have breakfast there (it's 160 baht and you can choose for it on the spot).

The hotel is easy to find and walking distance to outside street market is nearby. Most of all the room is big and comfortable. Only the problem is the air-condition noisy

The location is far. On the website they say they offer shuttle service within 1km (Means to the BTS) It is fake. there are only shuttle bus from morning. and they come in 2 hr frequency. This is the pulling factor to book this hotel. Given that the location is far in BKK. But it turns out that the shuttle bus service was not made well known. Disappointing and will not return

Have stayed at the marigold many times and I found it really good, very clean good breakfast and staff always willing to help. 5 minutes walk to imperial world shopping centre and Train station

Great Value
This was my first stay at Marigold. Overall the place is great value for the money. The room is large and comfortable. There were a few dusty spots in the corners, but overall the room was clean. There were some staff members who were clearly not comfortable with speaking English, but this was not a big issue at all as there were others who could communicate effectively. For example, I had a late night departure and one of the day staff ensured that someone was around to do the checkout and return my deposit.

Poor customer service and map is incorrect
The stay was ok. The room was clean and large. But the map on the website is wrong and when the hotel was contacted, due to us not being able to find it, the staff informed us yes, they were aware of it for sometime, but have not changed it or had it updated, so it cost us money to travel to where the map said it was, then we had to travel a long distance to hotel, after we found out where it was. We first picked the hotel as it stated it was in the centre of bangkok, but it is not. Then when we arrived at the hotel, they checked us in, gave us the key and that was it, did not explain anything or told us what floor the room was on. Very poor customer service. But the room was large and clean, but out of the way of everything.

incorrect location
the hotel itself was in good condition, but the location of the hotel was misrepresented. I booked this hotel based primarily on the location listed on the hotels.com map. the hotel was actually located about 45 minutes away from there, making it very inconvenient. this happened twice on this trip with hotels.com, so I wish they would get more correct information on hotel addresses.
