“Good price and location. Best beach in San Andres.”
Excellent location as it has the best beach in San Andreas. the rooms are comfortable and clean. good service all inclusive and willingness of staff.
“Good but better avoid all incluse packages”
The hotel was good, nothing luxurious. The beach crossing the road is good and the personnel were very nice. Food and drinks were ok but not of the best quality and in addition you lose the opportunity to taste the native authentic food. The rocky club for Decameron hotels was nice, so if you go to any Decameron you should go there.
“Not what I expected”
This place is a totally 3 star hotel, it has a small beach in front that is very nice but rocky, great for snorkeling. The disco sucks, go downtown for nightlife. Some of the shows are nice, the show crew is the best. Most employees are not too helpful or nice specially the one of the lady at the reception, the tour lady and the towels lady. 90% latinos, some people speak English. Food was ok could have been better, We went to the international restaurant but the barracuda at Aquarium is much better, What I hated about the international restaurant was that at lunch and dinner you could not get your own drinks but had to wait for a waiter to bring you one and that could take a long time. The tour prices were too high, $35 for a tour to Johnny Cay is ridiculous, anywhere downtown is not more than $20 including meal. The island is pretty but the decameron are not the best, they are always trying to sell you into their Multivacation programs that is pretty close to be a scam, same as the discount coupons for the Suize Army perfume store, they will push you to buy there but the coupon won't get you a discount whatsoever... in general the prices are higher that USA. Buses are 1300 pesos, (about 0.8 cents) they passed every 10 min, the problem is that in rush hour or when it gets full there is always somebody that did not wear deodorant...

“First trip to San Andres”
Enjoyed it, but I had the basic room offered. Not much to tell about the room. Restaurants were great and beach very close across the street. Everything else was great. Quite a ways down the coast from the main city, but the bus is convenient.
“San Luis Decameron is a good hotel taking in consideration the cost of the room”
I recomend this hotel, and overall San Andres Island, because we can travel around visiting other hotels at the same chain using the facilities.
“Good bang for the buck!”
If you are expecting to be pampered, this is not the place for you. However, if you want to enjoy a nice quiet place with good food, then check it out. I have stayed in other Decamerons, and so far this one has lowest rating in service of all. The food and rooms were very good, the service was lacking a little. But value for money was good overall. The San Luis is not close to the rest of the other Resorts. Is a litte more secluded, but you can get to the other via bus ot taxi. Bus is very cheap (50c).
