“Found the best in San Angelo... no more looking”

I spent 3 1/2 hours looking for a hotel with an indoor or covered pool for my son who just burns. It was well worth the effort (although there should be a search engine for that to help). We stayed the night before my back surgery, my husband & son while I was in the hospital, & I again spent one more night to recover before heading home. The bed was comfortable & I had a good night's rest before & after surgery. My son & husband had a great time letting all their energy out in the pool while I was in the hospital... I rested well knowing they were well cared for by the hotel staff. Everyone was friendly, called my son by name, & had smiles even @ 12 & 3AM. The room was spacious & all our needs were anticipated & the room already accomodated them. Will be back for visits.

Pool needs to stay open later than 11pm, the room was beautiful, clean and well kept. Very happy

“Definitely worth the price!!!”

I was a little apprehensive about staying here to begin with, simply because the rate was so reasonable. (I expected a get-what-you-pay-for deal) However, I was pleasantly surprised upon arrival!! TV was big and modern, bed was very comfy, room was clean, bathroom was big, more than ample FREE breakfast, and the room smelled fresh. The staff was extremely friendly and eager to help. I stayed here while visiting my fiance at Goodfellow AFB, and just suggest renting a car if you want to get anywhere interesting. (It's kind of in the middle of nowhere!) The outside of the hotel isn't much to look at, but the inside is nice and clean. I would have expected to pay twice as much for the room, so we were very pleased! Right next to the river and a short walking distance from the park. Definitely recommend!

“Nice motel at a fair price”

Motel is being remodeled but the room we had was very clean, employees friendly and continental breakfast was very good. I would not hesitate to stay there again. It will be interesting to see how it looks when all the work is finished.

“Very Impressed with hotel staff”

Hotel is a bit older, wear and tear is expected. I was very IMPRESSED with the staff everyone that we had contact with was very helpfull and polite,We were in San Angelo for a family reunion and had multiple rooms that familyies booked. All were Very pleased with our saty here. Our reunion eneded at 6PM and the hotel was kind enough to let us use a meeting room after the reunion it was great to get out of the heat and still get to visit with the family. We could not have picked a better place to stay in san Angelo.

“VERY PLEASE WITH THIS HOTEL!”

My husband and I recently stayed at the newly remodeled San Angelo Hotel and Conference Center located in San Angelo. We had heard the Hotel was in need of some updates and we found they have made very nice improvements! The pool is open, the guestrooms have been remodeled and they are working on a new restaurant, bar and meeting spaces. The staff were very courteous and efficient. There was a free continental breakfast every morning -which was an added bonus! We were able to find fun in the sun at nearby Lake Nasworthy. "Concho Cruises", which is about 5 miles from the Hotel, rents paddle boats, pontoons and fishing boats which are something of interest to us in this hot Texas weather! They also have air conditioned cruises around the lake. We really enjoyed touring the San Angelo State Park, which was located right next to the city, it is over 7,600 acres - (there are tours offered as well.) They have horseback riding, fishing, hiking, bird watching, etc. and there is a large herd of Bison and longhorn which were free roaming (they were awesome to watch.) We actually took our food with us and had a picnic out there which was very nice. There was a downtown district there as well with shopping and restaurants as you would expect to find and there is a Riverwalk area which we did not get a chance to see but hope to next time. We will be back next summer as well and hope to find the restaurant, bar and exercise room in full swing per the owner's personal promise to me!

“Traveling Monkey”

Nothing fancy but totally perfect. Tucked away alongside the Concho river and little river walk. The people who work here are wonderful. Hotel is right near downtown and most importantly a few minutes drive the most interesting shops and about ten minutes drive from the BEST mexican restaurant in the area, Armenta's on S. Oakes ave. I was really happy with the hotel and compared to the other choices in San Angelo I feel lucky I found it.

Great place to stay! Excellent staff! Good price! Great location! Next to downtown where there is shopping and a amazing night life!

“San Angelo's Secret!”

Hotel is under renovation but I would not have missed it for anything! Staff was wonderful! My room was quiet, bed comfy, full breakfast with fruit options, soon to have conference area complete. Across the street was a small park and walking trail which was perfect after a long drive. Overall I was quite pleased!

“Awesome hotel!”

My family and I were extremely pleased with the friendly staff, the cleanliness of the rooms and the great location. We will definitely stay there on our next visit to San Angelo.
