Its an ok facility..what we did not like is that there is no pool. Its super hot and after work the boys want to dive in the pool but we didn't get lucky

Pros: Clean
Cons: Reception staff was not friendly or customer oriented.
Staff at front desk was not very friendly. Rooms were clean and comfortable, small but accommodating.

When I called to ask if I had to check out at the front desk I was informed that someone told the front desk that I had a dog in the room and they wanted my pet deposit. I informed the girl I didn't have a dog in the room and asked her to come up to the room. She said she was the only one there and she couldn't come look and hung up on me. I thought this was rude...but just left it alone.

Not luxurious, but met our needs and provided us with a nice place to stay. Being on the first floor was most convenient.

Disappointment especially considering cost!

Room was freezing and heat did not work. Moved to another room and toilet didn't work efficiently. Breakfast at an early time was not kept stocked!

Holiday stay

We booked two rooms and my brother booked three. My daughter-in-law took a picture of a roach on the wall. There were black specs on the bed linens. I was disappointed in the dinginess of the bath linens. They looked worn and stained. My brother had to move to different rooms twice before finding one that was satisfactory. The first one was dirty and the second one the heat did not work. We stayed at this hotel only because it was the only reasonable price for one night. Seems like the oil field has skyrocketed prices in our usual choices. We will not be using this hotel again.

Worst hotel ever

Our stay at the Microtel Inn was the worst hotel experience we've had in this country. From the first step inside, we were disappointed. We booked online. With a name like Wyndham, we expected much more than we got. The lobby was ridiculously filthy. Large clots of mud were covering the lobby floor, the hallways and even inside the elevator. The staff made no effort throughout the evening to clean it up, as if it weren't their job or they were waiting for the night crew to do it. In fact, by the next morning, it was gone. But a business associate met us at the hotel and the condition of the place embarrassed us. The room reminded us of what you sometimes find in Europe or New York City - - it was so small there was almost no room to walk around while trying to change clothes out of our luggage. The resident next door had a small dog that squealed repeatedly at about 5 a.m. We finally just got up and left earlier than planned. Will never stay there or at any other Microtel again.

Carpet was dirty didn't want to go shoeless

We were not told we had to pay hotel for the dog and we were locked out of our room. Our room was billed through online. Thought room was pricey

Socks and trash behind the Bed

Dirty dry mud all over elavator floor. Elderly lady almost slipt entering elavator. Informed staff of situation....corrected five hours later. Smell of crude oil/petroleum down hallways. I know that the oil boom is in the San Angelo area...respect other travelers lodging. Located dirty socks and trash behind beds. No tv remote in room. Front desk corrected remote issue. Bed sheets where a off white color...old sheets and contain small stains. Ok stay...great breakfest options ....they need little to pay attention to the small stuff...thanks

Good Experience

Pros: Location is great, near many restuarants and the malls.
Cons: The showere drainage
We had a great one night stay, the beds are super comfortable, rooms very clean and updated. We were in a suite so the size was good for the two of us. My only compliant was that the bath tub drainage was very poor, the water during my shower went up to my ankles. I did tell the hotel staff this during check out. I would stay there again.
