“Wet in San Angelo”

Person at desk for late check in was great, room semed good when we got there but at 2am when we went to bed we found one of the beds had been urnated on. Apparently this was missed by housekeeping. When I reported it the woman just stood there looking at me like I was speaking another language. Things do h appen and things are missed but when reported should be taken care of. We ended up sharing the other bed and I again reported it in the morning. Same responce from dif person. I can almost bet next guest in room will have same trouble with the wet unusable bed. Sad really that this place is apparently unable to give an appology at the very least, I realize they could not change out mattress or "dry" it out but some sort of hospitality should be extended.

Area recommendations

This was a great neihborood. We are elderly women and we felt save everywhere we went in this town. It is a very friendly town with friendly people. The train Museum was great, our guide knew his stuff and was very helpful. The fort was one of the best we have toured and Miss Haties was very interesting.

“Nice hotel but not the complete package”

Everything was fine until I arrived home and noticed that I had forgotten my shoes at the hotel. I called several times and after about 4 days they said they never found my shoes which cost $145. It was a nice hotel and I know that it was my fault for leaving them there but it would have been nice for the cleaning staff to have turned them in!

“I recommend to all!!”

I was very satisfied with the hotel all together from the reasonable price, to the front desk clerk. Also, the rooms were very clean. They had suffiecient towels available for all persons in party. The rooms did not have a foul smell as we have encountered in other hotels we've stayed at. Very well kept, from outside landscape to inside the rooms themselves. Updated and put together. Noise is very limited. It is off the busy service road on a loop and we hardly heard any noise. Not even noise from pool that was right under us. Our stay was very enjoyable and we definitely will stay again if the price is right and rest assure that you have been recommended to others.

Area recommendations

Areas around Loop 306. Sunset Blvd/Southwest Blvd. This is by the Sunset Mall. There you will find great places to eat and shop.

Dining

There was an excellent mexican restaurant in the hotel we stayed in called Nachos, I would recommend it. Service was great and manager Simon went out of his way for all. Great mexican food.

“Did the job”

Staff were very nice and accommodating for my band. We had 4 rooms. Only complaint is they need better pillows and need to vacuum better. There was some dirt around the edge of the bed and night stands. Hotel itself appears to be maintained well and the location was very convenient.

“Good place to stay”

I was treated so well from the reservation to checkout. Couldn't have been happier. The reservation was for relatives that were in town to visit. They were very pleased with the accommodations.
