Imagine leaving some of your trash outside the door to be picked up, then getting admonished by a staff member. "You can't leave that out here!!" OK, I'll just let it pile up in the room. Sheeesh....

The roaches done moved in!
Stay away from this hotel. Looks nice on the outside in a nice area of San Antonio but beware. Our room had roaches. In the shower, bathroom fixtures, crawling on the microwave, and the walls.

Window entirely opens with zero screen or protection to keep a child from falling out of hotel. The room stinks. There are no shades. The bathtub doesn’t have a stopper to use tub for children. The phone doesn’t work. And the elevator can be heard opening and closing all night. Horrible hotel. Really. Horribly hotel experience. Worst ever for me.

Phone did not work, no smoke detector, called ahead for a bed for a toddler when checking in clerk said there was none. She stated she would look, she never delivered one nor did she come to the room(since the phone didn't work) to let me know she found one. When I checked out, the pack & Play was in a box behind the counter and a staff member said she brought the bed to the night clerk but was not told to deliver it to my room. Spent a sleepless night to prevent baby from falling off the bed. Breakfast is not acceptable.

The room smell was horrid. Had to sleep with window open and still couldn’t get rid of it. Absolutely horrible. Web site claims breakfast, but it is a lie. Front person tried to minimize the issue by saying ’limited’ breakfast, but there was only coffee available. Would never ever stay here again, or recommend it to anyone… Horrid smell….

The place looks nice on the outside but the rooms smelled like smoke and just weren’t clean. My top sheet had a stain and then the blanket had a cigarette bud while in it. There was a moldy smell and found a baby roach in the bathroom. To top it off they didn’t even have my rescheduled booking and I had to pay again bc they had no record of my stay. Awful

The front office was clean but to start with this experience the elevator was not working and they gave me a room in the 3rd floor plus all the hotel had a horrible smell i dont know if it was the carpet or smoking smell but it was terrible

I will not book another stay here. Upon arrival, we had no shower curtain. I called the front desk and was informed that housekeeping would be notified. I waited for several hours, and no housekeeping. I had to get the shower curtain from the front desk and hang it myself. There were four construction workers in the parking lot playing their music so loud it was heard on the fourth floor where my room was located. Notified the front desk of the complaint. Nothing happened. Several hours went by, and the music was just as loud. I notified the front desk again. This time the front desk told me she had gone out, but there were no trucks or construction workers playing loud music. I informed the lady at the front desk; she was not telling the truth. I had been observing these four construction workers from my room window after the first notification was made. After the second notification, I watched the front desk person go outside, and at that time, the noise was lowered. I was not happy that the front desk person had not gone outside after the first notification. Another complaint. When I initially booked my stay, I was informed the hot tube and pool were operational. Upon my arrival, the front desk told me the hot tub and the pool had been non-operational for several months. Another lie was made.

Almost Memorial Day and the POOL and Hot Tub are down, and no one seems to be working on them. Coffee and packs of instant Oatmeal are hardly worthy of being called "Grab and Go Breakfast". Poor internet connection. Kept getting dropped. Probably not an issue for travelling Construction crews, but unacceptable for Business travelers.

It smelled and was in worse shape than I expected. Stairwell and side exit grubby. Room smelled bad. The carpet should be clean and it was not. I'd get in the shower and all sorts of hair and dirt came off my feet. Grounds were not taken care of - quite a mess.

The basics are all here: It was clean,safe, convenient, quiet, hot water, cold ac, good tv, good bed, good linens. However, my room #431 needed a couple of repairs…. The bedside light didn’t work properly. the only way to turn on the light was to screw in the light bulb and vice versa. The shower curtain was falling off the wall and the bathroom vanity light needed an additional bulb. Lastly, there were not enough plates silverware, etc. When I went to use the coffee maker, there was a bug in the water chamber. Ick!!
