Enjoyed the hotel property and the Historic appeal. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Good location to walk everywhere we needed. Rooms were very comfortable and spacious. Hope to be back for another visit.

I was disappointed to read of many concerns you had and, on behalf of all of us here, please accept my most sincere apologies. I apologize, we did not clarify the our amenities at check in. Our laundry service is available upon request, it is in/out same day service when collected by 8:00am. We are proud to share exercise facilities with our sister property across the street. For your breakfast items; our Alamo Café is open 6:30am to 1:00pm daily. I will work with our staff to clarify these items, again I truly apologize for not meeting your expectations during your stay with us.We would welcome the opportunity to win back your confidence and I am happy to visit with you personally. Amazing location! Literally behind the Alamo- our windows overlooked the Alamo’s back yard/exhibits. Just steps to the Riverwalk, and across the street from the mall. Very safe. Beautiful building. Parking was available but expensive, so we parked at a public lot down the street. Still very convenient. The staff was wonderful, happy, and helpful. We had a corner room that was clean and beautiful with two walls of windows. Loved it during the day, but not great at night. The windows were covered with large shutters which let a lot of street light in all night. It was tough to sleep. They are high quality and attractive shutters, but I highly recommend they add blackout curtains as well. Also, my husband and I each used the shower once and it didn’t drain, not even overnight. Luckily we were checking out so it wasn’t a problem for us. We would totally recommend the hotel, just maybe not that room.

Hotel is very conveniently located . We could walk to everything we wanted to see. Hotel is older inside, but has charm. Don’t like that theydon’t clean and change towels and toiletries daily.

The bed was terrible. Worst bed I have ever slept in. The air conditioner in our room sounded like it was about to go out on moment. It was so loud it was hard to sleep. It sounded like it was about to fall apart and fall out of the ceiling at any moment. You could barely hear the TV when it was on. Between the terrible bed and the horrible sound coming from the air condition, we didn't get much sleep. I really should have asked to move to a different room but I was trying to make the best of the time I had. Next time I will not stay at this hotel and I will just go bad to the one I normally book at.

I loved the location. This was my first time in San Antonio and I could get to a lot of the sights on foot. The hotel was clean and the people were helpful.

The lobby is beautiful. Rooms are standard, outdated. The location is perfect for river walk, the Alamo and the River Mall. However, there is significant construction all around the building. Very noisy. We had a room facing the Alamo and the music from the bar kept us awake until they closed at 11pm. The parking is 45.00 plus tax with valet. We had to wait 20 minutes for our car at 5am, not because they were busy just that no one could find the valet.

It is in a very walkable area and close to the river walk and the shops. The beds were not as comfortable as big company hotels. There were also no curtains so a lot of light would come into the bedroom at night which was kind of a problem for me. Overall everything else was good.

The room itself was nice. No microwave though. The bathroom was the smallest thing I’ve ever seen in a ‘nice hotel’, so that was disappointing. No counter space to speak of. Other rooms had bigger bathrooms. We obviously got the the short end of the stick. Maybe because we had an Expedia package ‘deal’. Be aware that there is massive construction/renovation going on right now (March 2024) in downtown and the Alamo. But it was all worth it! We had a fabulous time!

I didn't like I paid for 2 rooms, prior to arriving. Yes , I know check in is at 4. I get there at 1:30 and they only give me 1 room and said I had to wait for the other. And they have till 4 to assign another room. When driving 4 hours to get there all you want to do is go to your room and relax. I called prior and asked could we check in and they said yes over the phone. Was the only reason I arrived at 1:30 PM

My son and I stayed for 3 nights during Spring Break. When we arrived, valet was kind and, even though there was a long line of people waiting, was quick. When we checked in, the staff member at the front desk was kind, thorough, and quick. Our room was much larger than I had anticipated. (Side note: the view would have been amazing if it wasn't for construction at the Alamo, but that's no fault of the hotel so no stars docked for that). The room was cold, which I appreciated. Our room was above the tavern and the live music ended around 830pm each evening. I did not find the guests dining to be overly loud after the music ended. I also did not find the Alamo construction to be a noise issue, either. The location of the Crockett Hotel was perfect. We were within walking distance of everything we wanted to see. The only complaint we had was the wifi was not that great in our room. The TV didn't stay connected to streaming services (Netflix, Youtube, etc) and our phones didn't stay connected. That said, we didn't dock any stars for that because we spent a very large part of our stay not in the hotel.

We loved that we were so close to the river walk. With tons of shopping and dining choices just steps away. Beautiful hotel as well. But the location was excellent.

Stay was wonderful. Check in was at 4:00pm I arrived at around 4:30pm and room was not ready. Girl at counter did not explain very much. Never told me about $150.00 put on my credit card or what it was for. Other than that experience was wonderful.

The charm of the hotel is excellent! Staff friendly and helpful. Cost for parking is high and I wish there was a better option to eat in for breakfast but the room was really nice and we loved the decor and atmosphere. Staff was great as well!
