Pros: convenience to activities
Cons: staff and service
Location: there was art shows and activities
First, the room keys did not work second, we didn't get the room we requested with a refrigerator third, they didn't get us clean towels or room cleaning ( I made the bed previously, but still we had to ask for towels the next day after the room key wouldn't work again the TV didn't work well, all channels were fuzzy, so watching the race was a bit difficult this was our weekend to relax, we only get one a month Disappointing.

The staff were very helpful. The pictures on the description were not close to what we stayed in. The Hotel needs a remodeling. The breakfast wasn't the greatest. It was sweet all around. No salt food. Overall is was not a bad stay.

Worst hotel I have ever stayed in in my life.

Posted Apr 5, 2014
Pros: It was easy acess to the freeway to another hotel.
Cons: It needs to be cleanup and update the place.
Location: Seaworld and Riverwalk .
I got to my room the key card didn't work for me or the manager, so we were assigned another room and there was dirty sheets on the bed and the blanket sink like musty arms. Pulled the covers from the bed and they still didn't bring us a clean blanket.

It's okay, but needs improvement.

Pros: Friendly staff, clean rooms, and VERY comfortable beds.
Cons: Extend breakfast hours, improve laundry facilities, replace stolen, worn out, broken fixtures/equipment/hair dryers. Install room microwave ovens an
Location: There ARE NO near by things to do, but there are 3 restraunts within easy walking distance & a gas station/convenience store, right next door.
A person I won't identify, told me the motel owner won't pay to replace worn out, broken, missing, stolen hotel items. I specificly asked for a smoking room through Expedia, but was booked into a non-smoking room the first night, & asked for a room change, the next day. The front desk clerk, Victoria, was VERY pleasant, and extremely helpful. She had to actually move me 3 times due to minor problems, such as non working motel supplied hair dryers in 2 rooms, since I had forgotten to pack mine. There's only one coin laundry room, in poor condition, and no vending machines to dispense detergent/fabric softener. So a trip to a store would be necessary, and none are even close by. Many security lights in corridors are flat out missing. There is a continental breakfast offered, but only from 6-9 a.m., making it unavailable for later morning risers, like myself. There's not even any hot coffee offered after 9 a.m.. There are small instant coffee pots in the rooms, but I want fresh coffee. I had inadvertantly left a baseball cap & a pair of clip-on sun glasses in the first room, from the first night. Housekeeping did not turn them in/didn't notice them? So I lost them. Over all, the motel's okay, but being right next to a busy Insterstate Highyway, there is significant traffic noise, on the front side rooms. The rear facing rooms are quite a bit quieter, but the traffic noise is still present. Installing a microwave & at least a mini refrigirator in the rooms, would b

Found hair just about everywhere I looked. On towels. In the sink. In the toilet. In the bed. It was uncomfortable and dirty and we had awful loud neighbors.

San Antonio on the fly

Posted Mar 31, 2014
Pros: close to River Walk, one mile easy access.
Cons: a good cleaning, more towels, breakfast till at least 11 am, it would be nice to sleep in and still take advantage of breakfast which you pay for
Location: Good location right off the ten and 1 mile or so to Downtown
So I booked this room last minute, you get what you pay for and I knew that. Not enough towels, so its a good thing that I have started carrying towels with me for just in case cause you never know. Soon as we got there we took a shower, on the first one we couldn't turn the water off! We had to call staff who called "the expert" to come and fix it. The hotel room did not feel clean, the toilet seat didn't have a lid, the floor had not been properly mopped as you could see dirt in all the corners of the bathroom, just not a clean feel. But, with all that being said if you need a room quickly and you are only going to use it for sleeping I guess it will do. Or maybe not, I don't believe I would stay there again. I don't mind old, but it should be really clean.

Pros: Nothing
Cons: Everything in it.
To start, hotel is hard to find, since the sign that they is faded and could not see it. Room was not what I expected, the door would not open when I return to the hotel after an exhausted day, they maintenance personnel had trouble opening the door for me and after a while they finally opened it. On breakfast, coffee machine was dirty, juice machine was broke, and the meal was very poor.

Pros: NOTHNG !!!
Cons: Staff, rooms need to be clean, bathrooms need to be clean and flushed....change linen...and some clean pillow cases would of been nice !!!
On line the hotel details are great...states that hotel is located a couple of blocks away from Market Square and River Walk. Not true, not even walking distance.....had to pay a 17.50 one way for a taxi to give us lift to market square. Room was horrible, dirty, and smelled !!!! For price paid not worth it !!!

This hotel is not close to the Alamo

Posted Mar 28, 2014
Pros: The friendly staff. If you are just looking for a cheap place to stay in San Antonio, this is the place for you.
Cons: The rooms need to be properly cleaned. The bedspreads look like they've seen better days. The pool needs cleaning. Texas needs to recycle.
Location: This is easy to find as its right beside the highway. It's a long walk to the Alamo. There's a great little authentic mexican restaurant on Laredo.
This was not the hotel we thought we'd booked! This is not the Days Inn that is close to the Alamo. We had to drive to get to the dowtown town area. It would have taken us at least 40 minutes to walk there. The staff were very friendly and the breakfast was good but this hotel is in a sketchy part of town. We did not feel safe here. The hotel is older and quite rundown. You get what you pay for! The pool is not clean enough to swim in.
