Not what I expected for what I paid

Staff was welcoming. Address on site is not the physical address of hotel, it was somewhat unpleasant, after driving hours on the road to get there for my mini get away with family. Hotel room need work. One time deal for me

Horrible experience. Will not stay here again. Dirty, stinky sheets, sticky carpet, very small room. Dark back parking. I asked for extra towels I was given damp towels.

Pay extra to stay elsewhere!!

If we hadn't have arrived so late, I would've left and gone to a different hotel. It was very dirty, the breakfast leaves much to be desired, the hotel is RIGHT NEXT TO THE FREEWAY, and in the "hood". You wouldn't want to walk to the river walk or anywhere for that matter. You get what you pay for and less. Our night clerk was friendly, morning clerk not so much.

Will never stay here again

Gps could not recognize address of Hotel. Overhead front desk give directions to someone over the phone. He had to give address of business next door and told them that address would get them there. Weird I thought it was just my phone. Hotel is old and bathroom was stained from faucet to toilet to bathtub. One of our towels also had a stain. Gross! Continental breakfast was not the best, but it wasn't the worst either.

Filthy Hotel

Pros: Nothing!!!
Cons: It is basically a tear down down.
Location: The location is in an unsavory area & blocks from downtown.
The hotel was filthy & not close to the downtown area or the River Walk in the "Downtown Area". The area where the hotel is located is a very "seedy/unsafe area". We wouldn't have been able to walk in the area & feel safe. We did not spend the night!!!

Never Again

Pros: breakfast, easy to get on and off the free to the hotel
Cons: update rooms, remodel, fix the ice machine on bottom floor. its rediculous having to walk up stairs just to get ice..its 100 degrees ..and humid..
Location: riverwalk, and the Alamo and all downtown attractions within a 10 minute drive
When pulling up this hotel sits next to a gulley..we noticed teenagers all over the place in a run down neighborhood. We worried about gangs, or our car being broken in to. I could hear the traffic thru the paper thin walls. The front desk clerk was amazing and sweet and very friendly. BUT my room was awful. There was mold on the ceiling in my bathroom , and someone had attempted to steal the safe so it was sitting on the floor unbolted. There were ants in my room. Room was very small and over cluttered with furniture. It at least had a fridge and microwave. The complementary breakfast however was the best part of our stay ...they offered Texas shaped Waffles, cereal, muffins and fruit. DOn't stay here not worth the money.

Do not stay at thia hotel

Not the worse place I have been at, but close. The beds are horrible. My bunk in basic training was more comfortable. The shower curtain kept falling down, no toilet paper eigther.

Bad experience!!!

Very bad. Every day when we got back from whatever it was we had be doing for the day, our keys were disactivated. Every single day!!!had to walk to front lobby to get them activated. Even though we had reservations for 2 days and 3 nights. Awful experience would never recomend or stay there again. Like they say you get what you pay for except pictures of rooms on line look very nice.
