“Staying under a bridge >>> staying at the Days Inn”
Upon arrival in San Antonio, we called the hotel for directions and the staff were of NO help. The man on the telephone couldnt tell me how to get there from downtown! When we FINALLY got to the hotel THREE HOURS LATER DUE TO BEING LOST, the front desk clerk was rude. The following day our electricity went out, and one of the guys tried to help restore our power but once his shift was over, we felt as if we were put on the back burner because no one else even acknowledged our needs. Hours later that night the manager offered to let us use the room next door to ours since our power was STILL out, but the room was not equipped for guests (no towels, tv, fridge, microwave, etc the BASICS) &the air conditioner didnt work. Not to mention the fact that the door opened without a room key so anyone drunk and wandering around could have easily walked in. We were highly dissatisfied with our stay and hope to one day be able to have an "OK" experience with Days Inn, but since this stay has left such a bad impression on our entire group, i doubt we will give them another chance any time soon. Especially with the fact that we had to shower in the dark and get dressed in the dark, our only light source being the cell phones... Which we couldnt even charge them since WE HAD NO POWER >:( our visit to the Days Inn was ultimately a disappointment.
