Nice Hotel near La Cantera and bike/walking trailsPosted Nov 19, 2013
Pros: It is a new or newer hotel and very clean and elegant. The rooms are much larger than we expected so would be comfortable for a family with kids.
Cons: I thought it was great, have a blanket in the rooms for the beds would be my only suggestion.
Location: We were there to see family so did not go to the sights but there are restaurants and a mall near by. Also walking/Bike trails.
We arrived and were given a lovely, quiet room, it exceeded our expectations immediately with the size of the room and being new and it had a luxury bath room. We arrived at happy hour and we grabbed some soup and popcorn, they offered us a complimentary cocktail and soft drinks too. The front desk was very nice and friendly. They have a nice happy hour with snak foods as well as the hot breakfast they offer. We liked the gated, covered parking area and found the location convenient to the locations we were visiting. We stayed for 2 nights.

Cons: quality of bed and pillows

Great big room , very clean, and had everything (fridge, coffee maker , free wifi , etc.) except a good bed. Bed was too soft and dipped in the center , also pillows were lumpy.

Love the trail!Posted Aug 27, 2013
Pros: Running trail, room size & comfort, free food!
Location: Six Flags! Running/biking trail!
I was very happy to find the running/biking trail going right behind the hotel. I took advantage and went on a beautiful 6 mile run, and will stay here whenever I bring my kids down to Six Flags in the future! I also love the free evening snacks & drinks and breakfast. Both are VERY kid friendly.

Nice tripPosted Aug 26, 2013
Pros: Rooms were big, breakfast was good.
Cons: Not sure what to do about elevator problems. It's a design flaw to have three elevators for the whole hotel.
Location: Location was perfect.
The room is very roomy. Food was good, pool was nice. If I had to say something negative it would be the elevators were tied up, a lot. I mean if you have a stroller you can stand there waiting 5 or more minutes since they elevators would have people in them so we could not fit. I waited 7 min in the parking garage elevator just to have one get to me and it was just me. But the hotel was nice and the food provided was good.

Pros: Comfy and close to the university where my son attends. Love that it's attached to Applebys!
Location: I was there to move my son into the university dorm. It was the perfect place to stay.
Had a very good experience overall. Bed was great, room is spacious and was very clean.

Good but could be betterPosted Aug 23, 2013 on Hotels.com
Room was not clean. Staff was very kind and courteous. Enjoyed the kickback hour. Hotel is in a horrible location.

Everything was almost perfect, but the congestion at the elevators at check out was a little distressing.
