Nice hotel right off the river walkPosted Jul 14, 2014
Great location and friendly staff. The lobby drinks in the evening are a nice touch and the hot breakfast in the mornings. The room was pretty clean but the bathroom cleaning needed much more attention.

Great hotel on the RiverwalkPosted Jul 7, 2014
Staying at the Drury Inn was a fun experience. The location to the Riverwalk is perfect. The staff were friendly and allowed us to park early, check in early, and park after check out. The food offered helped keep our stay affordable. The room was comfortable, clean and spacious. The pool area was really pleasant as well.

Great location and that's about itPosted Jul 7, 2014
Pros: The location
Location: Lots of dining and shopping close to this area
Location Location Location that is all there is to this hotel. I paid ALOT OF MONEY for three days. Rooms are old, the hall ways smell and the A/C sucked. I chose this hotel because of the extras. Breakfast is the same every single day, it's tolerable. The kick back is disgusting, baked potatoes so hard you can throw them like rocks. We did enjoy the popcorn and free drinks. The pool and hot tub has so much chlorine in it you physically can not breath and the smell stayed on our bodies well until after we left even after bathing. Had a bill descrepancy and staff looked at me like I was crazy after presenting them with there own error. It took my bank to talk to them to let them know they double charged me for my already OUTRAGIOUS room. But with a quick fax it was settled. All other staff are absolutely delightful though. Do yourself a favor save the money stay some where else the extras aren't worth it, you will spend extra on food any way. There are nicer hotels on the riverwalk.

Great hotel on the riverwalkPosted Jul 2, 2014
Pros: I liked the location and all the amenities.
Location: The Alamo, Ripley's Believe It or Not, Hard Rock Cafe and several varieties of food and drink are all within walking distance.
Our room was large, clean and comfortable. It had an added feature of an outdoor balcony where you could watch activity on the riverfront.

WonderfulPosted Jun 28, 2014
We had a great stay, hotel staff was really really nice. Wish they would of had something different for breakfast, they had biscuits and gravy, sausage, eggs and waffles every single day, kinda got tired of that. Afternoon snack was the same also. The pool was a little small. Other than that everything else was good, had lots if FUN and it's right by river walk.

decent. lobby was a bit rowdy, but that's mostly due to the clientele.

Pros: Close to the famous Riverwalk. A good location.
Cons: See my first comments !!
Location: See my second box comments.
I stayed at this hotel in 2007 and was very pleased with it at that time so as I was visiting San Antonio again for a similar conference, decided to stay in the same hotel. The hotel has quite an austere feel about it, being a former Petroleum Company building which gives it a feeling of gravitas and elegance. However I was very disappointed to find that at mealtimes all food and beverages were served on something similar to "paper" or plastic material plates and cutlery was plastic ! The "cups" at the eating area and in the bedrooms were polystyrene. This completely spoilt what would otherwise have been a pleasant stay in that hotel.

Cons: Variety of breakfast food is about the only thing I would recommend improving. Breakfast was good, but food was the same for all 5 days we were there
Location: Nice location along Riverwalk, within walking distance of the Alamo, a ton of shopping and excellent dining. Plus, Starbucks is only a block away!
