Great hotel!Posted Dec 14, 2014
Rooms were fairly spacious for the price we paid. Free hot breakfast till 10 AM was great for families. Close to the resteraunts and shops on the riverwalk. Overall we had a great stay and would gladly stay here again in comparison to the more expensive hotels around.

Great Hotel on the RiverwalkPosted Nov 24, 2014
Pros: Extremely friendly, service oriented staff. Great breakfast and afternoon social hour.
Cons: Room service menu would be nice. Parking area is a bit cramped for larger vehicles.
Very nice hotel in a convenient area of the riverwalk. We visit San Antonio 4-5 times a year. The Drury was one of our favorites.

Good location right on the RiverwalkPosted Nov 3, 2014
Pros: Location and food and onsite parking (self-parking)
Location: Riverwalk cruise, Alamo, the Missions Trail (need to drive or hire a bicycle), SeaWorld, San Antonio Children's Museum, San Antonio Botanical Gardens
We stayed as a family of 5 in a double queen room and used the sofa bed in the living area. This worked well for us as we were out for most of the day. The kids made the most of the breakfast and the "5.30 Kickback" meaning we only needed to eat out at lunchtime. All the sights were an easy walk from the hotel. The staff were friendly and very helpful. Swimming pool on the roof was an added bonus - and very quiet whenever we used it.

Clean hotel and very friendly and helpful staff. One elevator was out of order while we were there which caused delays in getting to and from room at peak times. Would stay here again.

Location is about the only thing going for itPosted Oct 20, 2014
Cons: Customer service. Working elevators. Room safes
Location: Perfect location on riverwalk. Close to all the bars and restaurants. Spent one day in Fredricksburg visiting the wineries (about an hour drive north)
Upon checking in on a Friday, we were informed that one of two elevators was not working. The fact that a hotel of this size only had two very small elevators to start with would have created problems. Being they were down to one, was a nightmare. Nor did we ever see anyone working on the elevator the 3 days we were there. According to other guests, the elevator had been out since the previous day. We had reserved a room with a terrace. We were put on the 6th floor. Instead of a view of the riverwalk, we were looking at the tops of neighboring buildings with their heat and air units. Additionally there are no safes in the room. I have NEVER heard of a hotel without room safes. Because of this, we were not comfortable having the room cleaned and therefore went 2 days without housekeeping. The complimentary happy hour and breakfast were nice, although there was not near enough seating available in the lobby for this. The location was absolutely perfect and that's about the only thing this hotel has going for it.

BEST HOTEL IN TEXAS.Posted Oct 18, 2014
Cons: IT WOULD BE NICE IF THE DALLAS CHEER LEADERS SERVED DRINKS AT HAPPY HOUR.
Location: ON THE RIVER-WALK. WITHIN WALKING DISTANCE TO EVERY EATING OR DRINKING ESTABLISHMENT IMAGINABLE. THE ALAMO AND THE MERCADO ARE NEXT STORE
LOCATED RIGHT ON THE RIVER WITH ALL ACTIVITIES WITHIN WALKING DISTANCE. OUTSTANDING BREAKFAST AND WONDERFUL HAPPY HOUR. BOTH COMPLIMENTARY. WILL NOT STAY IN ANY OTHER HOTEL ON FUTURE TRIPS. IF YOU STAY ANYWHERE ELSE YOU ARE GOING SECOND CLASS.

Perfect location for River WalkPosted Oct 5, 2014
Easy access from the freeways. Perfect location for downtown, the Alamo, the River Walk, eating, entertainment, etc. The balcony was a plus and the room on the 7th floor has easy access to the exercise areas and pool.

Awesome Hotel and StaffPosted Oct 2, 2014
Pros: We liked everything. The staff, the rooms, the food, the drinks and the convenience of being right on the Riverwalk was exactly like we expected.
Cons: WE saw absolutely nothing that required improvement.
Location: There are restaurants and shops on the Riverwalk, The Alamo is within walking distance as were churches. Architecture is abundant and impressive.
Check in was painless and really quick. The lobby was immaculate. The room was clean and cool. The thermostat actually cooled the room to the perfect temperature. The Staff was so helpful with directions, recommendations, even down to calling a cab for departure. Breakfast was awesome with so many choices like eggs with cheese and ham that you can add, potatoes, donuts, oatmeal, muffins, and make it yourself waffles. The evening snack station was great. You could have hotdogs, nachos, and other goodies. Check out was even easier with a notice slipped under the door that morning with your total. The Riverwalk was only an elevator trip away as it took you directly to the Riverwalk level and to the hustle and bustle of all the shops and restaurants. Next trip out that way and I'll definitely be looking to book at the Drury Inn and Suites San Antonio Riverwalk again.
