Great for families on the Riverwalk

Posted Mar 29, 2015
Pros: Neat, clean, and comfortable. Friendly and helpful staff. Great location and amenities for the price.
Cons: We didn't have much of a view from our room, but we weren't there to hang out in the room, so it was a non-issue.
Location: Everything on the Riverwalk or in the downtown area is a reasonable walk away.
It was so comfortable and a really good value for being right on the Riverwalk. With 2 teens it was great to have the free hot breakfast, which was really good! My husband and I enjoyed the free beverages in the evening as well. We all loved being able to walk right out onto the Riverwalk and quickly get anywhere we wanted to go in the downtown area.

Nice older hotel on the Riverwalk.

Posted Mar 28, 2015
Pros: Loved the breakfasts, and "Kickback" each afternoon. A great way to begin and end each day!
Cons: The proper amount of towels provided in the room for the number of guests in that room. Also, a better in-room coffee system would be appreciated.
Location: On the Riverwalk, near the Alamo and double-decker bus pick-up. Much to see along the river, as well as in the town.
A lovely stay on the Riverwalk. Close to transportation, attractions, sight-seeing tours. Very helpful staff; they often gave directions to various locations and places of interest, and were interested later in the day in hearing all about our adventures.

I was super pleased with this hotel. It's in a great spot right on the riverwalk. Great staff. Very professional and super nice. Loved the free breakfast and happy hour. I will definitely stay here again on my next trip to San Antonio. Great family hotel.

Great Hotel

Posted Mar 18, 2015
Pros: Food, cleanliness and location
Cons: The breakfast menu could be changed up occasionally.
Location: The location was perfect, right on the Riverwalk. We strolled to Hemisfair Park and The Alamo. Lots of things to see and do within walking distance.
The staff at this hotel were so friendly and helpful. The breakfast was good but could use a change up on occasion. Free drinks were a nice bonus and the evening snacks could be a meal if you felt like staying in. Popcorn and soda pop available pretty much all day to snack on. I would recommend this hotel to all my friends.

The only thing that was bad was none of the coke machines were stocked!

Spring Break

Posted Mar 18, 2015
Only one night in San Antonio on my granddaughter's spring break - the location was perfect - great access to the River Walk. Complimentary evening food & drinks as well as full breakfast made the stay more affordable. View from room was not great - could only see roofs of old dilapidated buildings - beds were very comfortable.

Hotel is on the Riverwalk, but away from the busiest part. There is boat access just across the river.

My dog loved the hotel too. Very clean. And right on the river walk. The free hot breakfast and evening kickback is a great cost saver. I highly recommend this great hotel. We look forward to our return. If you are looking for a place to stay, this the place.

Weekend in San Antonio

Posted Mar 3, 2015
Pros: Excellent location
Cons: A bit pricy (paying for location I guess)
Location: Walking Riverwalk, dining, theater
Stayed at the Drury while visiting my niece stationed at Fort Hood. The Drury is a decent hotel with a great location. We walked to dinner & the Majestic Theater.
