Walking Distance To The Alamo

Pros: The suite and breakfast.
Cons: The sliding door. I hated paying for a baloney that I couldn't use.
Beautiful down town hotel. Friendly staff and clean rooms. We loved having a suite with a separated bedroom that had a door so that the living room and bathroom could be in use without disturbing anyone sleeping. It was also very nice having TV's in the living room and bedroom so we could each watch what we liked. The only problem we had was with the sliding door to the baloney. We couldn't open it. We informed the front desk and we were told they would have maintenance check it while we were out for the day, however, when we came back that evening it still didn't work. We checked out the next morning and I informed them again in hopes the next people won't have a problem.

Nice hotel on the San Antonio Riverwalk

We had a great time staying here. It was right on the River walk but there was a little bit of a walk to the part where the restaurants and shops were. The hotel was great with a friendly staff and comfortable room.

Family vacation

Pros: Location and amenities.
Location: Right on the Riverwalk, step out of hotel and you were there.
My family spent 5 days at Embassy suites and it was great! Very nice room, breakfast was fabulous and the evening reception was really great! Would recommend to anyone who is going to San Antonio.

Nice hotel close to river walk.

Pros: The staff was very helpful & friendly, location was very close to the river walk & The breakfast had lots of variety with a large dining area.
Cons: We were only there for one night & all was great!
Location: Very good location for the riverwalk.
Very efficient & friendly check in. I liked the fact that we had to use our room key in the elevator. Guest only could go to rooms. Nice space in the room with refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker & sink.

Wonderful Hotel

Excellent hotel! My only negative criticism is, couch was very uncomfortable. Also our room seemed to be either to hot or to cold! Not sure the thermostat was regulated correctly!

The room was very clean and staff was wonderful. Enjoyed the morning breakfast provided by the hotel every morning I was there. The hotel is right by the river walk and the view is beautiful .

One of the best Embassy Suites we've stayed at. The room was clean & looked like newly renovated. The food was excellent. I ordered the NY Steak from room service 3 nights in a row. The complimentary hot breakfast was just as awesome. I give the hotel a 10!

Great hotel for families

Always enjoy staying at Embassy Suites in any city. Breakfast in the morning and reception in the afternoon are a plus. Only disappointment was with valet where the service was lacking and checkout was significantly under staffed.
