Great stay

Posted Nov 3, 2014
Pros: Location and room.
Location: River walk and Alamo
Great location, great bar 2 min walk from hotel called Zinc. Food drinks and staff were excellent. It was a great recommendation from the hotel. Wish I could remember the name of the girl at the front desk (she was from Seattle), she was great!

Quiet end of Riverwalk

Posted Nov 3, 2014
Nice area, still within walking distance of just about everything . Bathroom needs some type of drawers or cabinet for putting Dop kit and cosmetics. Bedroom needs more drawers also.. Cleaning staff could have been a little more thorough, but everyone else was fantastic, friendly and helpful

Fell in love with San Antonio Texas

Posted Oct 29, 2014
Pros: The hotel is clean, beautiful, and right on the river walk. It's on the quiet end which we liked. Loved that the hotel had complimentary coffee.
Location: Right on the River Walk
This was the first time for my husband and I in San Antonio. We planned a long weekend for a concert at the AT&T center which was only 15 minutes away. You do not need a car! We went to the Alamo, (walking distance from hotel), and walked and ate on the river walk every night. The river walk is like being in Venice! Great restaurants, music, and just beautiful.

The Window View

Posted Oct 29, 2014
Pros: Beautiful hotel. Beds are very comfortable
Cons: Customer Service. I would rather have been asked to wait until someone was available to assist me, than to be told to go find a pamphlet.
Location: Walk downstairs and you are in the River Walk, plus The Alamo and the Wax Museum to name a few.
I paid extra so that I could have a window with a River Walk view, but the view was obstructed by the multitude of trees- very irresponsible to advertise AND CHARGE for a room with a view that does not exist. Also, the first morning I asked the front desk for directions to a couple of specific tourist attractions and was directed to some pamphlets.- The second night I called the front desk and requested an extra pillow, which never arrived. On the other end, the hotel is absolutely beautiful and the bed was very comfortable. The customer service leaves a lot to be desired. I will never stay there again.
