Great place - a retreat from the cityPosted Nov 30, 2013
Pros: The great ammenities and proximity to SeaWorld
Cons: Bed size could be Queen!
Location: Sea Wolds at Christmas nothing better
Stayed here over the Thnksgiving holidays - really loved the comfort and friendliness of the resort. The walking trail and biking trails are not very long but the kids loved the dogs, pool (yes in the cold weather too), the fireplaces, smores at night and the resteraunts were good as well. SeaWorld at Christmas is the best - Puts Disney to shame (Seriously we have tried both and Sea Wolrd is Chrostmas! - Disney is just Disney themed up to make everything Disney...)

Grand hideawayPosted Oct 18, 2013
Attended a conference at this hotel. It's well set up go large conferences or events. Food quality was excellent. Room was large and had been updated. Very large grounds that are well maintained. Lots of activities. The hotel is quite far away from everything so it can be a little isolating, but that may be exactly why you come here. Great Texas BBQ called Rudy's about a half mile away.

Horrible no other way to say!!!!Posted Sep 21, 2013
Do not use your money which is precious to stay at this hotel. The pictures of this place are miss leading for sure! When we arrived to our room it was not cleaned. Had to call to get room cleaned. Everything at the hotel is way over priced! you are better off at the Hilton or ome other chain. They billed my card for a number of things that we didn't even use. Horrible still fghting with them for money back on items not purchased.

Pros: My kids loved the water park. I loved the respectful staff and the food at the country store was great.
Cons: The price for lunch was slightly overpriced.
Location: Very close to SeaWorld and Aquatica, nice area!
We got an unbelievable price for this resort. My kids loved it! There was so much for them to do, we ended up staying several hours past check out to enjoy the amenities. The interior of the hotel is very nice an clean. The staff was outstanding. The exterior grounds are beautiful.

excellent place to stayPosted Aug 28, 2013
Pros: Plenty to do, you don't need to leave the Hotel if you don't want to, very clean rooms and outdoor areas. Pleasant helpful staff.
Cons: don't cater very well for vegetarians, but then again neither did many outside restauraunts.
Location: Fredricksburg, very pleasant day out. Downtown good for riverside/history of Alamo. Loved Bandera; had a lovely walk around the Government State park
excellent place to stay, only 20 minutes from airport or downtown San Antonio and other places to visit within easy travel. The Hyatt has lots to do and ideal for families although we were a couple on our own and we enjoyed it very much. We could have quiet time if we wanted by sitting around the adult pool or even a quiet area of the other pools and we enjoyed the golf and free driving range. Because we were visiting from England we did spend a lot of time visiting surrounding areas but had breakfast each morning at the Hyatt and an occasional evening meal. There was buffet breakfast and evening meal but the amount of food is too much and we could not have eaten 2 x $21 of breakfast food so just chose from the menu, which was ideal selection for us. Most evenings we drove five minutes up the road to several restaurants. The general store sold lovely sandwiches/salads etc which we did sample on a lunch time. I understand the Antler restaurant was very good food, but I thought it looked very expensive so did not try. Staff were pleasant and helpful, our room was ideally situated on ground floor opposite the Flow Rider which was entertaining to sit on patio to watch but once you closed your door you were not able to hear any outside noise. Did not try the spa so cannot comment. Would return again
