It's ok

Posted Nov 19, 2014
The room we were given during our stay was very small, especially for two adults and a small child. It was corner room so it was triangular which made the room narrow. The bed was a bit hard and the towels were very thin. The valet parking is $35 per day and the self-parking is $27 which I think is a bit pricey. Overall, the hotel was just ok. I personally wouldn't stay there again

Great hotel! Right on the Riverwalk

Posted Nov 19, 2014
Pros: The location.
Cons: If anything could be improved it would be to offer free internet in all rooms.
Location: As I mentioned before the location is the best feature. There is good dining very close and the mall also.
This is our second time staying in this hotel. The location is great. You walk out the back straight onto the Riverwalk. Very close to all the good dining places. You can walk out the front door and the Alamo is a short walk straight ahead.

Hotel gave me complimentary ride to airport

Posted Nov 18, 2014
Pros: Location. Price (bundled with airfare on Expedia).
Cons: Housekeeping. Small debris on floors of 3rd floor hallway; removing candy wrapper in bathtub; discovering clogged drain themselves before guest did.
When the airport shuttle bus didn't turn up, the hotel had an employee drive me in a hotel vehicle at no charge without my asking. Very nice. When I reported that the bathtub drain was clogged with a candy wrapper, Engineering immediately came to clear the drain. Good service but I wonder why Housekeeping hadn't seen the wrapper and reported the clogged drain earlier. Had complimentary WiFi with my Gold Passport account. Easy walking distance to the Convention Center. Hotel backs onto the Riverwalk but with 45 degrees and rain the whole weekend, it wasn't as much fun walking along the water.

Location, location, location

The Hyatt Regency is a great hotel. The best thing about this hotel is where it is located. It is situated right on the riverwalk at one of the best locations on the riverwalk. The Alamo is right across the street. Plenty of nice bars and restaurants in this area. The hotel itself is fine with a very clean and nice spacious room which contains a room safe. Nothing negative to say about our stay here.

Great Location.

Posted Nov 11, 2014
Pros: We loved the location and the rooms were very comfortable.
Cons: There were little inconveniences in the experience such as key swiping at the parking garage which did not work, check out feature on TV not working.
Location: The location is fantastic for the Riverwalk experience. The Alamo is across the street. There is no shortage of night time entertainment and dining.
Hotel is very convenient to the Riverwalk and Alamo. Easy access to parking and local amenities. Hotel is convenient to airport and connecting highways. We understood some construction confusion but parking garage key swipe was not functional, vending machines out of product and accessing fitness facility was confusing. Location is fantastic and staff was exceptionally helpful.

great location on the riverwalk.

Posted Nov 11, 2014
Pros: Location was great and it was clean and luxurious.
Cons: airport snuttle would be nice and maybe free parking if you have your own car.
Location: It was very close to the Alamo, shopping, restaurants and bars.
My husband and I booked a room for two nights and the hotel was perfect for us. Our section of the Riverwalk was a quiet corner where we could sit at the hotel river bar, the Worm, and have time alone or we could walk around the corner and be in the thick of things at Casa Rio, The Hard Rock and more. Shopping was right there too. We would recommend it for all travelers.
