Great location but many downsides

Posted Mar 30, 2015
The hotel is in a great location. It is clean. Staff is friendly. Downfalls: all the vending machines were sold out, they don't offer or have water for purchase in your room, our tv didn't work half the time, room service was gross, they charge you to use their computer and print, it seems only two elevators worked and one shut down while we were in it, no hot water on last day. Einstein bagels is in the lobby which was a plus!

Great location

Over all a great place to stay. The ice machine on three different floors did not work. However room service did bring some to the room. I would stay there again.

Noise issues.

Posted Mar 17, 2015
Pros: Convenience
Cons: Better double galzing
Location: The Alamo, Hard Rock cafe!
The hotel was very good and the service effiecent. The noise from the nearby Hard Rock cafe was very loud until 1.30 am for 2 of the 5 nights I was there.

great spring break trip to San Antonio

Posted Mar 17, 2015
Pros: See above
Cons: Having rooms ready at check-in. The bottles of water in the rooms were $5 each----a little expensive considering the price of the room.
Location: Visited the Alamo---Ripleys believe it or not---Riverwalk---Natural Bridge Caverns---Natural Bridge Wildlife Safari
We upgraded our two rooms with living room in between---rooms overlooked the Alamo--impressive view. We had to wait for the extra room to be cleaned, but housekeeping did a great job. We included breakfast for our party of 7, and everyone had a delicious meal each day...the staff in the restaurant was very professional. The workout facilities were nice, but the weather was not the best for swimming. We loved the location, and plan to stay at the Hyatt Regency Riverwalk on our next trip. We would definitely recommend this hotel to others

Great hotel in the center of it all!

Really easy to get checked in. Didn't like that the restaurant was closed at night.

Pros: it was a very nice and quiet hotel close to the major activities a round san Antonio.
The staff was very helpful and pleasant. there was plenty of room in the lobby to sit around and relax. there are tables in the bar where we were allowed to set and play cards without any pressure to buy drinks.

Close to Alamo and Riverwalk

Posted Mar 12, 2015
Pros: Very friendly staff and the beds are amazing!
Each and everyone of the staff members we encountered were exceptional - the front desk, doorman, housekeeping, and restaurant staff! Our first night was overbooked but everyone on staff pulled together and had us comfortably relocated for the night and had a room waiting for us when we arrived back the next morning. For our troubles - the hotels complimentary bottle of win and snacks was an unexpected but much enjoyed bonus.

BEAUTIFUL!

Posted Mar 12, 2015
Pros: The view, the staff was wonderful. My brother-in-law left his credit card at the bar and the staff was honest and held on to it until he made it back.
Cons: Cheaper valet parking.
Location: Right in the heart of downtown San Antonio. It is beautiful and your options will be open from all there is to choose from.
The Hyatt Regency is a beautiful hotel. Our room was a bit small, but the view was beautiful and the staff was wonderful. The only negative is that it is a little hard to get to because of the one way streets in downtown San Antonio. So take your time. It is worth it! Go! Spurs! Go!
