ElevatorPosted Jul 15, 2014
Elevator is slower then molasses in winter. I have bad knees so I had no choice but to wait. Anywhere from five to eight minutes. It's about a mile to downtown . But would not walk back at night. Ruff hood. Room was not ready when I arrived. And did I mention the elevator is slow. No convinience store nearby . Bring snaks. Hotel charges riddiculess prices . But I can overlook most of it. Staff is freindly . Security was sleeping on a bench when I went outside to smoke. I have a pic but don't know where to post it.

Decent hotel , had planned to spend time at the pool on fri but pool was closed most the day for maintenance. Staff was unsure on when pool would open.

Excellent hotel, easy access to I-35, attractionsPosted Jul 8, 2014
Pros: Large rooms, very clean, great A/C. Large tub and good shower heads. Large closet. Reasonable breakfast (included).
Cons: The tub was a bit outdated in our particular room. Water remained standing on one side instead of getting drained.
Location: Everything is within walking distance, but perhaps a bit of hike for high summer.
Great experience at this hotel. About half a mile from River Walk - a bit much for hot summer days, but otherwise reasonable. Good breakfast. Our room was so large that I think six people could sleep in there. There was a microwave, a small freeze, coffee maker, ice pot etc. Very clean, cool, comfortable accommodation. The experience might vary depending on the price you pay. I got a good deal, so I have nothing to complain about. In fact, everything was more than satisfactory for us. We visited with two children who were happy to jump in and cool off in the outdoor pool.

Room big enough but not that cleanPosted Jul 8, 2014
I don't know if it was because the room had not been used in a while but it had a horrible smell, the sheets smelled and some spots looked dirty like maybe they haven't been changed.

This was an excellent location and very reasonable price. Close to the Alamo, the riverwalk, and the freeway. I would definitely stay here again.

Confused by smellPosted Jun 24, 2014
Pros: Size of the room and hotel staff.
Cons: Smell on the 6th floor.
Location: Good location.
A room was very nice, and the hotel staff was very friendly and accommodating; however, the hallway on the 6th floor had a very musty smell to it. The room itself was clean and didn't smell, but the hallway was not pleasing.

Good experiencePosted Jun 7, 2014
It was good and I will use it again. I. Really liked the staff at the hotel and the cleanness was good. The only thing is the dryer really didn't work but overall it was a good stay.
