Unfortunately it is my first time I had a bad experience at La Quinta. Let me start with the positive. The bed was very clean and comfortable and location is convenient to be close to the airport.
The negative: now they charge for emotional support animals even with medical documentation. It got worse, the water pressure in the shower was minimal, the sink did not drain properly. My husband tried to iron his shirt and it stained it.
There was an old stain on the couch. If they are charging for pets, all pets including emotional support and trained animals, one would think that goes to clean better.
Lastly, I always loved La Quinta customer service. This time it was just an interaction and very inflexible. In the past, I have been able to check out a little later. I had two rooms and only needed one to check out later and without any qualms I was just told it was not possible.
I know I’m not expecting a 4-5 star service but in my experience with this hotel, the service was always excellent. Sadly that seems to be getting lost. All I was told when I checked out and brought up these issues was “ohh I’m sorry, you are all set”
