Great hotel next to the River Center Mall and in walking distance to the Convention Center. Very good breakfast selections with plenty of seating. The staff was friendly and helpful. Will return again for another stay.

Very Comfortable Hotel in a Great Location

Posted Nov 12, 2014
Pros: The proximity to local attractions can't be beat. It's very close to the Alamo and Riverwalk as well as the interstate. Breakfast buffet was awesome
Cons: We had no maid service on our last day but the maid was across the hall so we were able to get clean towels, etc. (She said we weren't on the list.)
Location: The Alamo is @ 1/2 mile away. The Rivercenter Mall with access to the Riverwalk is across the street. Other local areas of interest within a mile.
My 84 year old mom and I recently stayed at the La Quinta while visiting San Antonio for the first time. We found the location to be excellent, very convenient to attractions and the interstate system. The room was clean and comfortable and the hotel in general very accommodating. The breakfast buffet is extensive and was so filling that we basically ate only 2 meals each day. Staff was always pleasant and ready to assist if needed.

Location was good

Posted Nov 8, 2014
Pros: Very nice eeating area
Cons: softer towels and toilet paper
There were three of us staying in the room and we had barely enough room for the roll away. Extra pilolows were furnished but no blankets. The toilet paper and the towels were scratchy.

Nice hotel close to the convention center

Posted Nov 4, 2014
The location is good for a walking distance to the convention center, and the room condition is great for its price. The internet speed is not bad at all with wifi everywhere in the building. The reception staff have been nice to me and I had a good stay there.

Well run, modern property.

Just one block from Riverwalk Mall and convention center. From check-in to check-out it was a perfect stay. No need to pay more for Riverwalk stay unless you just want too!

convenient location to river walk

Posted Oct 28, 2014
Pros: Location, breakfast buffet. cleanliness, amenities
Cons: make beds everyday
Location: Great convenient location, walking distance to river walk and convention center.
Rooms were excellent, clean and 1st class, breakfast buffet was outstanding, except we were there 3 days and they did not make beds everyday. Had to call for clean towels one day. I left a jacket and two shirts in closet. I called today to front desk and they redirected me to another dept which I got a recording to leave message. I left message today with room #240 Oct 23 - Oct 26 that I left black jacket and two shirts in closet and would they send them UPS or Fed-X. 1584 Yarmouth Pt Chesterfield, Mo 63017. Haven`t heard back yet.

Very nice hotel for the price.

This hotel is in a great location, only a couple of blocks from the Riverwalk and a ten minute walk from the Alamo. The only substantive complain that we had is the the place is so big that it has a bit of an "institutional" ambiance. Certain, for the price, it's a really good place to stay if you want to be near the Riverwalk.

Nice hotel close to the Riverwalk.

Posted Oct 7, 2014
Pros: Location, location, location!
Cons: The TV remote could use some fresh batteries.
Location: Shopping and restaurants along the Riverwalk. The Alamo is nearby as well as HemisFair Plaza.
Prompt check-in, friendly valets and the parking lot attendent was a very personable gentleman. Room was perfect for what we needed, complimentary morning breakfast consisted of several nice selections, including scrambled eggs, breakfast sausage links, muffins and do-it-yourself pancakes. All-in-all, a very restful and pleasant stay.
