Nice hotel near to important streets.

Pros: Good space in the rooms. Everything was clean
Cons: I would include wi-fi and breakfast.
We went to San Antonio mainly for shopping (San Marcos). This hotel gave us the right amount of rest during the night before going to malls and stores again.

Elegant/comfortable hotel

Everything was great, except the lobby attendant wasn't very amiable. He was strictly business.

Beautiful Place with helpful staff.

Pros: The bed was very comfortable.
Cons: I don't like walking barefooted on floors, so maybe disposable slippers would be nice.
Went to Texas to visit a friend for a couple of days, picked this hotel because it was centrally located. The staff was extremely helpful from the front desk staff to the on-site Bistro staff. The room was clean and inviting. What impressed me was the size of their gym. It was not just a couple of excercise machine, it was several excercise machines, weight machines, yoga balls, incline mat, and free weights. The atrium was beautifully accented with a waterfall fountain. I wish I had more time in Texas to enjoy the hotel a little longer. Would definitely go back to this hotel if I am ever in San Antonio again.

Valentines Stay

Ok the decision was a last minute thing, but with that in mind, we were able to book the room. We enjoyed the time, and the hotel stay.

Older hotel but nice staff.

Cons: Rooms need a total updating package. Waffles need to be offered on the breakfast buffet. Pictures of the rooms on Expedia site would be helpful.
Location: Plenty of nice restaurants close by and the very nice North Star Mall is a short drive.
The hotel staff was very friendly and accommodating. The nightly rate was very good and with plenty of parking it was an excellent deal over staying down at the Riverwalk. A short 6 mile drive and you are at all the activities of the Riverwalk and Alamo attractions. The rooms are on the older side but very comfortable. We had the free breakfast package and the food and service was very good. The only drawback was the lack of the famous waffles I always look forward to with a Marriott stay.
