Poor WiFi says it all...Posted Mar 27, 2015
Pros: Comfortable room; downtown; excellent TV channels and TVs
Cons: Poor, spotty, unreliable WiFi
Overall the hotel was fine as a place to stay between ventures out to the Riverwalk, the Alamo, and other tourist destinations. However, it's very disappointing WiFi connectivity is enough to take this hotel off my places to stay in San Antonio list. Connectivity was spotty at best. I even sprung for the pay to play version but my laptop never did attach (new with updated Windows 8) and my phone and tablet were more miss than hit. No matter what the reason that I stay at a hotel (pleasure or business) WiFi connectivity is one of the top priorities on my must have list. During pleasure stays my wife likes to keep in touch with the kids and grand kids, I like to scope out things to do and what's on TV at night. For business, good WiFi connectivity is an absolute necessity. It's strange that this hotel hasn't figured that out. And the idea of charging for WiFi, even just an upgrade package, is completely out of touch with their competition. For that reason I will not be staying there again.

Pros: Staff was so nice and room very clean
Cons: Supposed cafe and restaurant
Location: Better nearer riverwalk, or safer street,2 pan handlers on walk to riverwalk asked us for money.
Great staff but felt unsafe while my sister and I went walking nearby

Close to the Riverwalk areaPosted Mar 25, 2015
Pros: Proximity to the Riverwalk and downtown
Cons: Heat the pool as expected and improve the entrance/exit to the parking garage. Put queen beds in the rooms with 2 beds.
Location: Location is one block from the Riverwalk and an easy walk to the Market Square and the Alamo and plenty of restaurants.
This hotel, while not directly on the Riverwalk, was a block away. It isn't fancy but pretty standard and the room was comfortable. It would've been nice to have 2 queen beds instead of doubles for 4 adults but we made it work. The pool was supposed to be heated and we brought swimsuits but it wasn't so we were unable to use it (COLD). The parking garage was terrifying at first since the ramp to the first and second levels involves going up/down a one way circle relying on mirrors. The hotel had a nice coffee shop but no free continental breakfast. Also had a nice, quiet bar for late night drinks. All in all, I would probably stay here again.

Hotel on the river walk, I guess.Posted Mar 22, 2015
The parking was a big issue for me, I had to park in the underground parking for $18, and to get to the lobby I had to take stairs. With luggage it was a pain. There was no view, website states its on the riverwalk, clearly was not! Hotel had 2 elevators but only one was working. Shower was not draining well and the water kept going from hot to cold!! This hotel is definitely not worth the price of$250/ night and I would never stay here again. Oh and there was no complimentary breakfast, should have stayed at Holiday Inn!#

No free breakfast and fees!Posted Mar 13, 2015
Pros: Close to Riverwalk and ease of check in and out.
Cons: Offer free simple breakfast and fees for microwave. We couldn't even pop popcorn for a movie.
Location: About 4 blocks to Riverwalk
Booked a room with pool view; however, not the case when I arrived. My view was building across street and construction. There is no free breakfast...none! This was surprising as most hotels offer free breakfast, even if minimal. This was the first of many many hotels that we've been to that did not offer it. Read fine print about fees! There's a microwave fee, I think $25, and parking garage fee of $~$18 when there is a parking lot right next door for $10 all day or $7 after 3 which is check in. If you're going to end up paying it, pay for it in a nicer hotel.

Old and outdated in terrible conditionPosted Mar 13, 2015
The hotel is not next to riverwalk like the name says. The hotel is old and outdated. For the price i could have stayed in a much better location. I would rate this hotel 1/2 star. The only good thing was the TV. Don't waste your time or money staying here.

San AntonioPosted Mar 12, 2015
The worst check in I have ever experienced in my life. When the lady stopped coughing long enough to check me in it took ten minutes. No chair for the desk in the room and slow internet.
