Nice hotel next to Alamo viewPosted Mar 15, 2015
Pros: Staffs were friendly, valet parking very quick, room we're clean. Extra plus that it very close to river walk
Cons: It would've better if there's a mini frigerator in the room or microwave accessible
I booked this hotel on spring break week for 2 adults and 4 kids and I must say we were really happy with the room we got. It's a bit pricey but still cheaper than other hotel nearby. Room was very clean, beds were very comfortable. Alamo was just one block away and two blocks away from river walks. It's very convenient for us since we have 2 little infants. Would highly recommend this hotel

Loved this hotel.Posted Mar 14, 2015
This is a historic hotel that has a fascinating history. Although the building is old, it has all the modern conveniences. The hotel was clean and the staff was really nice and helpful. We parked our car with the valet ($30 a night) and didn't need it again until checkout. The Emily Morgan is literally right next door to the Alamo and about a block away from the River Walk and the mall. We had a lovely time and would definitely stay there again.

Comfortable rooms!Posted Mar 6, 2015
We really liked the location and the history of the Hotel. The room was very quiet and the bed was unbelievably comfortable! The lobby was very cold, but the weather was bad when we were there. The staff was friendly and helpful Wasn't too thrilled about paying $30 a day for parking but I know that happens when staying at a downtown location. Menu could have been better....had a great Happy Hour. I would definitely stay there again!!....They serve free warm choc. chip cookies!!

Beautiful hotelPosted Feb 22, 2015
Pros: Love the decor and the fact that an older building was saved and repurposed.
Location: Right across the street from The Alamo and a couple blocks from River Walk. Grand Trolley tours. Riverboat tour. Howl at the Moon dueling pianos.
Hotel was within walking distance of many attractions which was nice since we did not rent a car. Hotel and whole city were very clean and safe. Employees were friendly and helpful. Room was quiet and nicely furnished. Would highly recommend.

Things change...Posted Feb 9, 2015
Pros: Location is still good!
Cons: Staff, restaurant/bar
Location: Alamo & Riverwalk are incredibly close!
Spent time at this hotel a decade ago. My how time can change things. Put us in a basic room, not the corner room we asked for. Blaming Expedia seems to be most expedient for them, so they do! Bar was TERRIBLE - the restaurant manager did his best, but the drinks were bad & every staff member was angry. Not fun to be around! Sad to see - was so excited to be back here after our first & amazing experience years ago. Won't come back.

The location of the hotel is great.Posted Feb 1, 2015
I really liked that the location of the hotel was right by the Alamo the heart of San Antonio. The room at the hotel was so comfortable I felt at peace. I only wished I could have stayed a couple of more days :)
