Great place to shop, dine out or go to the parks

Posted Jul 31, 2015
Pros: Clean, neat, price and location location location.
I love the Hotel's location, it has a lot of everything near by. Shuttle to fiesta texas o the shops at la cantera, you have fast food and a pharmacy at walking distance, and THE BEST mexican breakfast/lunch restaurant just a couple of blocks away (taqueria aguascalientes) Never tried the pool (because there was so many things to do outside!!) but it looked really nice, a little bit on the small side but cute. Theres a lot to do a little bit further down cantera parkway at THE RiM, go to Bowl and Barrel its a great place. Overall i would really like to come back here.

Close to Fiesta Texas

Posted Jul 20, 2015
Very close to Fiesta Texas. Room was nice and clean, bed was comfortable. Downfall is that the restroom was a little small and my room did not have an ironing board. But other than that it was fine.

Bad experience

Posted Jul 16, 2015
Upon the arrival we were not greeted, front desk girl was not friendly at all. During our stay only one employee said hi to us. We were checking out I had some questions in regards to checking out and the same girl at the front desk said that she couldnt help me at all because I booked trough Expedia and not Wyndham. very bad experience at this hotel.

Terrible experience

Posted Jun 15, 2015
We arrived at 2:30 the receptionist was very rude said to come back till 3. I wasn't able to get my room till I returned at 9. Was locked out of my room 3 times because of the key failure...very inconvenient going up and down and waiting for someone to reprogram door. And both rooms I rented were not cleaned at all the two days I was there or restocked toiletries. Its the first vacation I take my children on and it was a disappointing experience. Will not stay with Wyndham's again.

Good location

Posted Jun 12, 2015
Pros: Proximity to UTSA and La Cantera shopping/dining. The pool and patio areas are very nice and shady.
Cons: Room cleanliness and free breakfast, as has become the norm with most hotel chains.
Location: Shopping and dining options are excellent.
Hotel close to campus and shopping/eating but lacked in cleanliness. Would prefer to stay somewhere that offers a complimentary hot breakfast for the cost, even if the drive to campus is a little longer. Staff seemed overwhelmed but friendly.

8 different room keys in 3 days

Posted May 23, 2015
I was visiting my family in San Antonio, Texas and stayed from the 19th to the 22nd. I checked in around 6pm and went to dinner. When I came back to the hotel at 10pm there was a line of 5 guests waiting at the front desk. I went to my room and realized my keys cards did not work, but both had worked when I set my bags down 4 hours earlier. I then had to go back down to stand in line for new keys. After a 20min wait, the employee insisted on making multiple cards for each person then walking us up one at a time, when we walked up to my room 3 of the 4 cards did not work, but I was already tired and annoyed so I took the 1 working card and said thank you. The next day I leave around 9am and checked my card as I walked out of my room and it still worked, until I came back again around 11pm. Doors would not open and I had to wave at the front desk employee to get her attention to let me in, she seemed extremely annoyed and when I was finally let in she told me, "you are supposed to scan your room key to get in sir" while she was still on the phone with a call I could not imagine was business related. I went up to my room and Again I had to go back down to get 2 new cards. Neither of the new cards worked so I had to walk back down and get more cards. This problem happened every night of my stay. And on several times I had to go behind the front desk to find an employee to help me get in my room, each time the employee was on her cell phone.
