Best hostel I've been in.

Good location, but the homeless are a bit noisy. I'd stay there again.

Great little hostel

Posted Aug 25, 2014
Very friendly staff, rooms are tiny but clean, bathrooms are a little rough but it's a hostel, what can you expect. Great location, very close to the train station and five blocks from the gaslamp district. Very nice for a little impromptu get-away.

Disgusting hotel experience ever!

Posted Aug 24, 2014
When arrived me and my husband was book into the same room as somone else so we had to go back to the receptionist and he was rude about his apology and said there was no other vacancy then he found one to our luck it was a small room that you can't even stretch in or breathe in felt as if we were punished to stay in the filthy place! Overall experience showered was shared so was the toilet can you say unsanitary gross it smelt like old pee poop and dirt I would not recommend this room to anyone even this was the last place open I would NEVER stay ever again!!!!

Never Stay in this hotel......

Posted Aug 20, 2014
Pros: nothing
Cons: tear the building down
Location: down town SD
There is no bath room in the room. You have to share with others...........have fun, clean up the bathroom before you can get clean yourself.....and of course wait to use the bathroom.......get in line.

Bio hazard suit not included

Not sure where to start. I've stayed in hostels in Malaysia that weren't as bad as this. But aside from no attached bathrooms, no parking accommodations, no air conditioning and a ceiling fan the size of a dinner plate, and I couldn't tell when the combined shower/ toilets down the hall were last cleaned due to the black fuzz growing on the tile but on the up side location is ok and yeah I have nothing else.

Room too small hotel needs complete renovation

Posted Aug 10, 2014
When we got there the lobby looked nice just like In the picture online, once we got in the elevator it already looked bad, chipped paint messed up walls, and then the room was super small and ugly no kind of comfort , doesn't even have a restroom, you have to share a restroom with the whole floor, I didn't even stay the night they can keep the money i went to stay at another hotel. they should really post real pictures of the rooms before people can get tricked into booking them thinking they're going to have a nice room

Horrible hotel

Expedia provided me with my worst travel experience ever. This hotel should be labeled a hostel and was way over priced.

It doesn't look like a hotel!

Posted Aug 5, 2014
Pros: Location
Cons: They need to improve everything!
It was a last minute trip and I didn't really check the place much. However, the room they gave me was very old and super ugly, so nothing like the photos they have here. The location is good.
