San Diego relocation

Posted Feb 24, 2015
I moved to the West hotel after another place I was staying at raised their price and this was a better experience. NoTv, but I wasn't in San Diego to watch TV anyway, and WiFi was free anyway.

Peor hotel en el que he estado

Posted Feb 23, 2015
Pros: Nada.

Adequate for the price if just looking to flop.

Clean and comfy as the former YMCA the hotel has 6 floors and a variety of single twin bed studio rooms. Most with flat screen TV and wifi. Stayed two nights on shirt notice and at least off the street for a low price point. Housekeeping staff does the job although very simple facilities in old 1900s buildiNg. Euro style with bathrooms all unisex and digital keyed entry for security in all rooms. Second night discovered the shared kitchen and community center, so really at the price, you have what you need. Close to SD Amtrak so adequate if you're in and out of the metro transit center, and advising that while you are across the street from the Westin and Emerald Plaza, you won't pay those rates. Better than camping and a reasonable transitory clientele.

Horrible

Posted Feb 17, 2015
Pros: Nothing
Cons: Tear it down and rebuild it
Most disgusting place I ever walked into. The paint is pealing off the walls and the curtains were infested with what looked to be lice.

Did not know this was a hostel

Posted Feb 17, 2015
Pros: The staff was excellent though. Very nice and very respectful.
Cons: PLEASE clean the showers, didn't use it because it was filthy. Also, Expedia needs to inform the buyer that this is a hostel.
Was lucky to get a hotel room near old town on Valentine's Day but a heads up about it being a hostel would have been greatly appreciated. For $100, not worth it. Plus they couldn't spare another pillow (it was my fiancé and myself) and the showers were disgusting. I would say the only plus was that we just stayed a night and it was close to a harbor and Little Italy.

Bad experience with the conditions of the hotel. Poor information, outside restrooms, bad lighting.

多少の騒音でも寝られる人ならGOOD

Posted Feb 16, 2015
Pros:

Disgrace for a hotel. All guests agreed

Posted Feb 16, 2015
Rooms felt like Jail Cells, very uncomfortable beds, entire place was filthy, didn't even have room keys, had to ask staff to open locked unisex restrooms located in hallways, found crack pipe in room upon arrival, room smelled horribly like paint, but the paint was peeling off the walls.. I could go on for days about how horrible this place is, but it's not even worth my time, let alone my money. Regret paying for this room... At least I was too hungover in the morning to complain. GasLamp district rocks!

A hostel not a hotel

Posted Feb 16, 2015
This website says nothing about it being a hostel instead of a hotel. Tiny room, the bed was flimsy feeling. I ended up having to find a different from at a real hotel like I thought I was getting at first
