It's an ok hotel

Posted Sep 12, 2014
The hotel was clean and comfy but very small. The pictures provided online make the room seem much bigger. If traveling alone, might be more suitable. The AC was not working in the first room they assigned us but we were quickly transferred to a fully functional room. Finding parking on the streets was a struggle. There is a parking lot across the street but you pay $12 for 24 hours with no in and out privileges. Staff was nice and somewhat helpful. Location of the hotel was excellent..we were close to most main attractions.

Close to the gaslamp quarters

Posted Sep 8, 2014
This place is walking distance to gaslamp quarters durung the daytime it only took us 15 minutes to get there. On our way back in the night time we took a cab only came out to 6 bucks not bad at all. Now the room itself has two tiny twin beds, not very comfortable. The room and sheets smell like stale cigarettes. Even though the room was "non smoking". There is no sink in the restroom so we have to use the one in the mini kitchen area, the hairdryer is next to the microwave also. Its just awkward. The area this place is at is not the best, the streets smell like urine and its dirty, there is no parking, so take a lot of change to use the meters, after 6pm ur ok to park anywhere. I couldn't take the smell in the room, or else I wouldn't mind coming back cause its cheap, but I wouldn't recommend it to a close friend.

Nice hotel and close to where we needed to go...

Posted Sep 2, 2014
Pros: Very nice street appearance.
Cons: Unless you can change the size of your rooms I think you guys are doing pretty good.
Location: Came for a specific event but there is plenty of nightlife and daytime restaurants nearby.
Hotel room was quite a bit smaller than expected but it got the job done. Close to where we needed to go (Civic Theater).

Bad neighbor

Posted Aug 26, 2014
It's cheap, the hotel condition is acceptable. The biggest issue for us was the loud music from its neighbor. We lived there over weekends. Somehow its neighbor played very loud music from about 9 pm through midnight or even later. It's right facing our window. It's not a party. We called the front desk, they said they can do nothing and no other room is available. Another guy helped to call police but nothing seemed happened. For the price, we really didn't expect much. But this loud noise really made it the worst experience. I don't think this happens rarely. So I only hope you won't live in the same side if you choose this hotel.

Enjoyed everything. I wished that the hotel had a parking lot.

I would not recommend this hotel to a friend

Posted Aug 21, 2014
Air conditioning was not working, only the fan. Refrigerator door fell off constantly from the refrigerator. Next to the hotel airport, so aircraft noise did not give us to sleep. Planes land there every five minutes. It's horrible. System tap water strange. Unable to make warm water - only hot or cold.

Budget friendly

Used this as a homebase as we explored the city. Close to everything. Was worried about street parking, but easily found parking every time we came back. Room was small but not cramped. Clean and comfortable

Thin walls and hard bed

Posted Aug 10, 2014
You can hear everything from the other rooms. The bed was hard and uncomfortable. The queen bed was more like a double.
