ベストバリュー

Posted May 25, 2015
Pros: 安い。
Cons:

1 night stay for the Padre vs Cubs baseball game. Close to the 5 freeway and only 1.7 miles away from Petco Park. Street parking only.

Worst Hotel

Posted May 23, 2015
I have been to a lot of hotels, this is the worst so far. They can't even do "basic" housekeeping. Towels are very old, coffee maker is nasty. Toilet does no flush well.

A Couple's Trip Away

Posted May 17, 2015
Pros: I loved the sweet simplicity of the space. It was small, but Everything was convenient and user friendly. The staff was incredible.
Cons: During our stay room 314 had warm water that came from the cold tap in the kitchen. This was minor. We had Water bottles.
Location: Taco Stand. Catching cabs. Walking among flowers and Balboa Was Very close.
We came to San Diego for a Get-Away. The Hotel was Nice. In Downtown we could easily walk to Balboa Park (Incredible) and the Zoo (Well worth the price). An Awesome taco stand just up the block with Great prices for a quick bite. And the neighborhood was Beautiful. The common area was full of flowers and a fountain that made for a Beautiful resting place for weary travelers.

Good value

Posted May 2, 2015
Basic hotel but was clean. Good value for price paid. Under the landing path if planes to San Diego, so can be noisy but quiet from midnight to 6am. Does the job if you need a cheap and acceptable place. Staff was friendly!

Best accommodation for such affordable price

Posted Apr 25, 2015
Pros: The warmth and friendliness of the employees. The breakfast is good. The location is excellent.
Excellent customer service from all host/hostess(Jamie, Bobby, Jasmine and Alicia). They attended my needs promptly and pleasantly. The room is small but comfortable. You can hear the airplane passing over but at 11pm it stops.

Great location, terrible room

Posted Apr 25, 2015
When we got there our hotel room floor was soakin wet. The room was as big as my dorm room in college. The breakfast was a joke but it was free, so no points deducted for that. The staff was incredibly nice so there's a positive. The hotel was in a great location so if you're looking for a cheap sub-par hotel in a awesome location near downtown, this is it.

Okay Hotel at a Convenient Location

Posted Apr 19, 2015
Pros: It is affordable.
Cons: Softer beds, please!
Location: Near downtown San Diego and the Gaslamp Quarter.
The hotel is exactly what you pay for. It's not the ShangriLa, but if you're looking to sink your money into experiences instead of hotel rooms, then this is a good deal. The rooms are clean and the staff was pretty nice. My room did not have a hair dryer, and within 10 minutes of my request, someone came up and offered to install a new one (I declined the installation but took the dryer, as I had an appointment and just wanted to dry my hair -- I am sure they've installed it by now). My only gripe is that the beds are pretty hard and uncomfortable, and they did not have complimentary hair conditioner. I always bring my own toiletries, but it's nice to have a back up once in a while. The hotel is really close to downtown San Diego -- approximately a 5 to 10 minute cab ride depending on where you want to go. The free breakfast included bagels, yogurt, and some pre-packaged pastries. Again, not the best, but also better than nothing. I would recommend this place for people who have better things to spend their money on than a place to sleep.
